Captain Zipline - CHECK-IN IS 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO DEPARTURE TIME
Located in the heart of the Rockies, our 6 ziplines range from 300 to 700 feet with cliffside takeoffs and views of the Arkansas River and Sangre De Cristo Mountain range. Our ziplines vary in length with each one getting longer and faster as the tour goes on. Our “Leap of Faith” zipline offers you the chance to race other participants and our “Eagles Roost” boasts amazing views of the river and valley below. With light hiking between the platforms, our tours vary in length from 1.5 to 2-hours depending on the group size and feature views of the canyons as well as limestone kilns and bighorn sheep.

Take County Road 7/45 and follow 0.8 miles. On the left, is a Captain Zipline sign and arrow posted. Take a left on County Road 54 where the sign is located and follow the road to the top of the hill, past an old mining operation on the left. Keep following the road down into our parking lot!

Incredible Sunset Tour - My daughter and I did the sunset tour. It was only the two of us and it was amazing! Derrick and Carrie were the best tour guides. Incredible jokes and made us feel so comfortable the whole time. Definitely coming back again!

Best Guides Ever - Had a blast with my 14 year old daughter. Most all ages were a part of our group and all wound up having a great time. Some were nervous at first, but by then end, they were having a blast. Josh and Lane were the perfect hosts and the two safest, funniest, good looking, well spoken, intelligent and more knowledgeable of local ghost town culture than any other zip-line guides we have ever experienced.

A must do on your vacation to Salida! - The staff was amazing! The 2 young women (forgot their names) were fun and really good with the kids. Overall this was an excellent experience!

A Great Morning Adventure - Beautiful views, scenic easy hikes and 6 great lines. Josh and Matt were awesome guides! We were also accompanied by Josh’s dog Hella who kept track of us the whole way. A great way to start our day!

You have to go zip lining! So much fun! - We had a great time on our zip line adventure! Josh and Lane were excellent guides. They were funny, friendly and made the whole experience enjoyable. The views from the zip lines are amazing! I would definitely do this again!

Amazing and so fun! - This is the 2nd time we’ve done the Sunset Zipline. Somehow it seemed even better than last year, and last year was exceptional! The guides were fun and helpful. The views before dark were amazing! Loved every minute!! Thank you Captain Zipline!

Great vibes and great time ! - so fun to meet everybody there at Captain Zipline! I was the first one there and Josh and Hela (most awesome friendliest dog) came out and greeted me . Beautiful place! Josh and autumn were really great guides really knew their stuff and super funny and positive I will be back.!

AMAZING!!!! - The staff was amazing and we had an incredible time. We had all ages from kids to grandparents on our tour. The staff did a great job at relieving any fears, having fun, and above all being safe. INCREDIBLE views and the experience of a lifetime. Go check it out you won’t regret it!

A FANTASTIC ADVENTURE - This adventure course was amazing! Our guide was a very kind & encouraging young woman named Lane. She was super sweet and so thoughtful with our two 10 yo granddaughters who were able to gain confidence with her guidance. They loved every minute of it and thought she was simply THE BEST! We will definitely do this again and highly recommend… and ask for Lane❤️
