Salkantay Trail - Your hiking crew will wake us up early with a hot drink, we hope that when you open your tent you will be able to appreciate the first sun beans over the peaks of the mountains. Around 06:30 am, we will start the hike that will be 50 minutes uphill until we reach the Salkantay pass the highest point, we will be the first ones at the top. From this point, our hike will be all downhill of 2 and a half hours until we get to our lunch spot. In this place we will say goodbye to part of our trekking team (Horsemen).

Here, locals grow large hectares of coffee to export to the United States, Asia and Europe.

After the activity, you will have the opportunity to climb part of the Inca Trail for two hours and a half until we reach the top of the mountain from where you will see amazing views of the Santa Teresa Valley and just in front of us the world wonder of Machu Picchu.

It will be 30 minutes more downhill, to the camping area. This camping is owned by a local family. This is a great place to enjoy the sunset and sunrise over Machu Picchu the next morning.

Once the stars come out, you can enjoy the Milky Way and the Inca constellations (weather permitting). This is where the Inca astronomers studied the sky to predict the weather.
