Great Food Tour - We enjoyed this great food tour on our visit to Salt Lake City yesterday. Ray our tour guide is very an enthusiastic foodie. He also has a great knowledge of the history of the city and the sites along the walking part of the tour. We started our tour close to the hotel where we were staying and sampled an amazing cheese and chocolate shop. As we walked to our second food tasting, Ray pointed out many historical sites and fun points of interest. We really got the sense of the city’s investment and preservation of the arts. Our second stop was a local hot chicken sandwich place that was delicious! We loved hearing the background story of the master chef who started that restaurant. We ended our tour at the third stop which was a whiskey tasting and charcuterie board that paired perfectly. Ray told us that he has many other fine local eateries that he mixes into the tours, so it’s always a different, great experience. Bonus part for us was the calories we burned during the walking part of the tour that offset the delicious food. We would recommend this tour for anyone who would like to taste the “flavor” of this interesting city.

Great Tour - Even though the other party canceled last minute, he meant just the two of us, so it ended up being a private tour. We really liked how knowledgeable he was. So much history and fun facts! He was very friendly, and all of the food was so yummy. We learned so much about Salt Lake City’s history at the same time as enjoying some great eats!

Ray was an excellent guide, showing us both culinary, cultural, historic and architectual highlights of Salt Lake City. He is super sweet and knowledgeable, and he took us to hidden places in the city, we would never have found ourselves. This experience gave us a whole new perspective on the variety of Salt Lake City. Highly recommend this. Well worth the prize.

Great way to learn about Utah food, history and culture - Raymond Muccillo was an excellent guide for this food tour. He's not only very knowledgeable about Utah food, he also is a wealth of knowledge on Utah history, culture, and religion. I appreciate that he did not cancel the tour even though I was his only guest. The food we ate was delicious. I liked the route we walked and I learned a lot about Salt Lake City history. I highly recommend this food tour.

Best tour in town - The tour was absolutely amazing! Great selection of food sites. Ray knew history that I'd never heard of, and I've lived here my whole life. I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Salt Lake City, or even locals who want a fun night out. Worth the price.

We enjoyed our 3 stops and our interesting guide - Let me start by saying I’ve never been on a bad food tour. That certainly includes this one- learned a few things, friendly guide, ate some good food. That said, it only includes 3 stops- an interesting deli, a very cool chicken place, and, for us, gelato at the end which was kindly substituted for the whiskey tasting for us non- drinkers. My son, who is local, loved the tour and we had a good time, no regrets. But tours I’ve taken in the past were probably better with more stops, less walking, and a wider variety.
