Highlights
  • Farol da Barra - In a unique experience, it will be possible to visit the most important lighthouse in the first capital of Brazil. Because it is considered one of the most important ports on the continent, in 1839, the lighthouse was built to help ships. It is 22 meters high and has a range of 18 nautical miles in clear weather. It is also possible to visit its facilities for only R$ 15.00 not included in the itinerary. In addition, the lighthouse of barra is great for watching the sunset and taking beautiful photos.
  • Dique de Tororo - A huge spring surrounded by our famous orixás.
  • Itaipava Arena Fonte Nova - One of the most famous World Cup Arenas.
  • Sister Dulce memorial - The most anticipated moment of the tour. A visit to our Santa Dulce dos Pobres.
  • Basilica Do Senhor Do Bonfim - Everything starts in Bonfim. Inaugurated in 1669, the church represents a great tradition and devotion of the Bahian people. Location is also very desired for the photos with the famous ribbons of the Bonfim.
  • Mercado Modelo - One of the best places to buy souvenirs and handicrafts in Salvador.
  • Elevator Lacerda - At about 63 meters high, it was once considered the largest elevator in the world. We climbed it to get to the pillory. Elevator is used as a public transport that connects the city low to high. It is also great for good photos at the top.
  • Pelourinho - The ideal place to explore the history of Brazil. With several churches and colonial structures, the pillory is the passion of tourists. The walk involves a lot of sun and some time, but we can go by car in the main squares, in case the person is of a certain age or has a mobility problem. Access to internal streets is not allowed with a private car. Finally, we will have a break for lunch to taste the delicious typical Bahian cuisine.
  • Palacio Rio Branco - Discover the incredible Palacio Rio Branco where Thomé de Souza ruled Brazil.
  • Praca Thome de Souza - A square that houses several historic buildings such as the Palácio Tomé de Sousa, Rio Palácio Branco, Salvador City Hall, among others. How to pass it without taking a picture on the “Salvador” sign with the Lacerda elevator in the background.
  • Praca da Se - A beautiful square, full of historical monuments and what draws the most attention is the Cruz Caída. In that square there was a cathedral that was demolished to create the square. The Fallen Cross represents such an event.
  • Largo do Pelourinho - Visit the place where Michael Jackson recorded a clip and see our olodum playing. Why not learn to play Olodum’s drums, accept the challenge?
  • Sao Francisco Church and Convent - With the materials coming straight from Portugal and assembled here, the Basilica is a mandatory stop. With many busts scattered in the church, a high altar, a sacristy, the church is something of a passion for Catholics.
  • Salvador - Return to place of origin safely.

Best choice we had! - I just have to thank you for all the attention, care, patience and joy that both Samuel and Rafael showed me and my parents! Months before the trip planning, deciding, questioning and always willing to respond, indicate and organize the best way for both our days in Morro de São Paulo and in Salvador (transfers, tours, restaurants)! Much gratitude to Citytoursalvadorba, Samuel and Rafael for their professionalism, punctuality and respect! You can be sure that when we return you will have to put up with us again and you will always be recommended and praised! See you next time 🥰🙏🏼🍀👏🏼

Highly recommend this excellent tour! - My guide, who said I could call him Juan, or John, was a total delight! His knowledge of Salvador, and his love of her history, was palpable. As a woman traveling alone, with no knowledge of the language, his English was excellent, and he was so interesting! This tour was the highlight of my trip to Salvador!

Salvador city tour - The city tour is incredible, even more so when you have a wonderful guide like Rafael, he made the tour light and peaceful, as we had 2 children, one of whom was on his lap, not to mention the incredible kakakka photos. Excellent service - Good afternoon, passing by to say thank you, the tour recommendations and personalized service already enchanted us, but it was really when we got there that we saw that the choice of the agency to serve us was right. The guide Cleo really enchanted us, we fell in love with her READY lol Everything aligned and safe to serve us. The agency was very attentive from the first contact. All the tours went very well. We were impressed with their attention and they did more than we expected. They are to be congratulated! Thank you for everything 🙏🏻🙏🏻
