We had already been in Salvador for 2 days before our tour, but Carlos revisited spots with us offering a totally new perspective on the city… which we already loved, but were able to appreciate much more with Carlos as our guide.

Amazing and Memorable Tour! - Carlos was an amazing tour guide. Very punctual hotel pick up. We travelled in a car that was very well maintained. Very detailed tour, but wasn't rushed. We got to enjoy every bit of Salvador with Carlos! He was very friendly, his English is very good and answered any questions that we had during the day. Very informative guide, that knows the history of Bahia very well. Would truly recommend to anyone visiting Salvador!!

Fun Full Day Tour With Carlos! - Carlos gave my boyfriend and I a tour around Salvador. It was an amazing experience. The little soverteria we stopped at was so cute, and all the churches and historic buildings we stopped at along the way were so beautiful. He had great local restaurant recommendations too. Carlos is so charismatic and fun to be around. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of his home town and all its architecture/artwork. He always was happy to share interesting information or answer any questions. He speaks perfect English and kindly helped my boyfriend practice his Portuguese. The itinerary he chose was perfect and gave us a chance to see parts of the city we wouldn’t have thought to visit like the Ponta de Humaita. We felt completely safe the entire time. Would absolutely recommend.

Carlos tour guide won’t disappoint you - Carlos was an excellent tour guide! He knows Salvador perfectly and can tell you the history of each part of the city. He’s very professional and was on time for the pick up at the hotel. His brand new car is comfortable. I recommend Carlos over and over. You won’t be disappointed. He speak English and Portuguese. EXCELLENT GUIDE AND TOUR !! 6 stars - I spent 8 hours with Carlos Barbosa and had a better than expected experience. Fluent English, brand new car, all the city highlights and more. Explanations to the point, without “lecturing”. Bonus track: soccer. At the end of the tour we saw the ARENA. That night playing the local fútbol club “ Bahía “ lots of vendors with overpriced tickets. Carlos did not let them cheat me and toke me all the way to the box office. ( I enjoyed fútbol that night, not included in the program) 😊 Carlos adapted to all my needs and expectations . I recomend him 100 %.

Whirlwind tour, lots of exposure to what Salvador has to offer - Wonderful whirlwind tour of Salvador, covering lots of important sites. The ice cream shop at Ribeira that he took us to was probably the best I've ever had. Carlos has excellent English, and was happy to work with our varying levels of Portuguese. Lots of photo opportunities. He is very open to discussing your goals for and pacing of the trip ahead of time. Parking can be dicey in Salvador, so if you want a longer discussion of your goals, have it at a stop where there isn't time or parking pressure.

Fabulous Day in Salvador - A must do tour of the City. We can highly recommend Carlos Eduardo Barbosa as a guide. We took a private tour and it was worth every penny. Communication was easy and clear. The tour itself was excellent, we covered so many topics, visited all the key sights, we ate the best ice cream, made wishes to all the Saints and bought beautiful pieces of art, having met the artist. Carlos was a perfect host, very knowledgeable, and great company with perfect English We are so pleased we choose to do this tour, as in addition Carlos helped us organise and plan the rest of our stay. Definitely worth Five Stars.
