Ilha dos Frades - As soon as the boat departs, a magnificent panorama of Mercado Modelo, Elevador Lacerda, the 2nd Naval District Command, and the stunning Fort São Marcelo will unfold before us.
Aboard a fully-equipped schooner with safety gear, a bar, and a sound system, we’ll cruise for approximately 01:40 am until we reach Ponta de Nossa Senhora de Guadalupe on Ilha dos Frades, the first island in the Northeast to be awarded the prestigious international “Blue Flag” accreditation, a significant recognition for beaches and marinas worldwide. Upon arrival at the island, a conservation fee of R$25.00 is required.
There will be ample time to swim and explore the island. -
Ilha de Itaparica - Our journey will proceed to Ilha de Itaparica, the largest island in the Baía de Todos os Santos, known for its colonial architecture along stone-paved streets and as the birthplace of author João Ubaldo Ribeiro, who based his renowned novel “Viva o povo brasileiro” on the island.
We will alight from our vessels at a serene, seafront restaurant typical of the area, complete with hammocks strewn about for relaxation.

Setting sail from Salvador, behold notable sights like Mercado Modelo, Elevador Lacerda, the Second Naval District Command, and Fort São Marcelo off the boat. As we traverse the waters for approximately 1:40 am on our schooner, equipped with a bar service and mechanized sound, we’ll arrive at Ponta de Nossa Senhora de Guadalupe on Ilha dos Frades. Renowned for being the first island in the Northeast to hold the International ‘Blue Flag’ certification, a prestigious acknowledgement for beaches and marinas, it charges a mandatory environmental fee of R$25. You can enjoy some free time for swimming or exploring the area.
Venturing onwards, we reach the Island of Itaparica, the biggest island in Baía de Todos os Santos, celebrated for its colonial architecture, cobblestone lanes, and as the birthplace of the author João Ubaldo Ribeiro, who immortalized the island in his popular book, ‘Viva o people’ on the island, Brazilian.
At a laid-back, local eatery, we disembark from our boats to soak up the sea’s tranquility.
