The Journey Begins

As the sun began to rise over the vibrant city of Saly, I found myself eagerly anticipating the adventure that lay ahead. The Bandia Wildlife Safari had been on my radar for quite some time, and the opportunity to explore the Reserve De Bandia was finally here. With my camera in hand and a heart full of excitement, I was ready to capture the essence of Africa’s majestic wildlife.

Our guide, Mika, arrived promptly at 9:00 am, his warm smile and friendly demeanor setting the tone for the day. As we embarked on the 40-minute drive from Saly, the landscape transformed from bustling cityscapes to serene, open savannahs. The anticipation built with every mile, and I couldn’t help but wonder what incredible creatures awaited us in the reserve.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by the sight of the open 4x4 safari vehicle, a trusty companion for our journey into the wild. The air was filled with the sounds of nature, a symphony of birds and distant animal calls that promised an unforgettable experience.
