Mardi Himal - Poon hill trek with guide Milan - My sister and I booked a 7 days 6 nights trip combining poon hill and Mardi Himal treks. The weather was very foggy at first due to wildfires and smoke pollution but it got better after a few days and we had the chance to see the amazing Himalayas (mardi himal, fish tail mountain, Annapurnas). The entire trekk was very diverse and beautiful. I highly recommend our guide Milan, who was very kind, caring and knowledgeable, always providing us with the best options in the mountains. We also felt very safe with him. The agency is serious and professional.

HIghly recommend the Poonhill Trek and Sisne Rover !! - Incredible experience from start to finish. The scenery is second to none. I cannot emphasize enough how cool of a trek the Poonhill Circuit is. Our guide Milan was fantastic. He brought such positive energy and was so knowledgeable about everything. Can't recommend him enough. Trek can be strenuous at times but the payoff is worth it. Thank you Sisne Rover!

Milan is a fantastic guide - Very precise and correct organization. Prices and agreements respected. But the plus was Milan, the guide who accompanied us during the three days of the trek. He showed us animals and plants, always welcoming, always smiling and very competent. Fantastic Milan

Amazing!! - My friend and I did the Poon Hill trek with guide ( Dewan) and Porter (Krishna) they were both amazing, so patient and made our trek experience better than we could of imagined. We loved our experience, very well organised the company sorted everything from permits to food to accomodation. Could not fault anything would 100% recommend. The stairs and pain are worth the beautiful views.

Highlight of the trip seeing the biggest mountains on Earth! - We had a great trip with our guide Milan. He was super informative about all the flora (pink rhododendron trees) and fauna (we saw lots of monkeys!). He was great company and we even had a dance party the last night. Even though we went in the smokey season we had incredible views of the Himalayas in the morning. I've never seen anything so massive. They look like they're coming from outer space. Don't come to Nepal without doing a trek! Poon Hill is perfect if you only a couple of weeks in country.

Awesome experience with our guide Dila Ram - We had an unforgettable experience with our awesome guide Dila Ram who took us to poon hill and back. We enjoyed it so much that we ended up staying an extra night. Dila ram organised a room with good view of Anapurna South mountain. Good food; plenty of daal bhaat available. Would love to come back and explore other parts of Nepal. Thanks Sisne Rover & Dila Ram for organising a seamless trekking trip. Recommend them.

Excellent trek with Milan - Had a great trek with Milan. He made sure everything was taken care of and that I had everything I needed for a great trip through Poon Hill and the surrounding area. The sights were incredible and the trek is definitely a must-do while in Nepal. I would definitely recommend Sisne Rover for treks from Pokhara.

Trek and guide were good, if overpriced; intineray and inclusions not as advertised - I did this trek as a solo traveler with a guide. Diwan was friendly and patient when I needed to take it slow up the many, many, many steps. The first day started on a dusty road in the sun that wasn't very scenic and ended with 3,500+ steps up the hillside that was more challenging, but offered better views. The second day was lovely with waterfalls and rhododendrons in bloom. The third day started with a steep climb up Poon Hill where the mountains revealed themselves for the first time (it has been cloudy up until that point) which was amazing. The fourth day was a short and much easier trek down the hill. I opted for the economy package since I am alone and able to carry everything I need. When I went to the office prior to the trek, I was told that I should pay an extra $50 USD for private transportation to and from the start and end points. After discussing my options with the owner, I opted to pay for a taxi to the start point and take a public bus back to Pokhara. Consequently, my final day did not include the trip to the Old Gurung Museum and we left directly from Ghandruk rather than Kimche as indicated in the itinerary. I was not informed about this in advance, or I may have otherwise paid for the transportation to get more out of the trek. Finally, I did not get a "Certificate of Trekking Completion" or a “'Hike More, Worry Less' t-shirt as a souvenir of Nepal" as noted in the trip inclusions. Overall, I'm glad I did the trek, and I appreciated my guide, but I feel like I overpaid and could have done the same thing on my own or for less money, possibly cutting out the dusty bits of Day 1 and adding on some more downhill past Ghandruk.
