Outstanding experience - What a fun afternoon. I went solo and was paired up with a lovely young woman. We made a great team! The instructor was very nice, and patience. We actually learned to make two desserts. We had a delicious lunch and then we were sent home or to our hotel with leftovers. It was one of my favorite Germany adventures! I’m making it this weekend for my Cali family. Added bonus, the place is carved into a mountain.

Loved it! - We truly enjoyed everything about our class and would love to do another if we travel to Salzburg again! It was in a great location (parking was difficult though), the class was intimate with only 6 people, the food was delicious, & our teacher was great! Thanks again for such a fun morning!

Delicious apple strudel! - What a great experience! Johann was a great teacher. He gave clear directions, and made the apple strudel, making experience much easier than I thought! I mean, where better can you learn to make apple strudel, than in Austria lol! His space was also great- a cave that used to sit at the entrance to the city. The goulash soup was also delicious and you had the option of buying various drinks, some local! Altogether, not to be missed!

Experience Salzburg through apple strudel! - This is a great take. You will enjoy true hospitality, fun instruction as to how to make strudel and knockle and delicious goulash for lunch. Intimate atmosphere, knowledgeable and polite staff. Make reservation ahead and don’t be late. A little tricky to find but easy walk from chain bridge.

Delicious, cozy & perfect! - The best way to dive into different cultures is by learning how to cook the traditional dishes by yourself! Johann, the owner, shows you how to make „Applestrudel“ and „Salzburger Nockerl“, and even tells you some historical facts about it! After baking, he serves you his homemade „Gulasch“ before you try your selfmade Strudel. It was a perfect rainy afternoon programme and we will definitely try out the recipes again! Also we could get in touch with other tourists and received some recommendations. It was a very relaxing atmosphere, thanks!

Must do - Johann provided an excellent class. The recipes were fun to make, and the finished product was delicious. The goulash served while the deserts were baking was also very good. I would definitely recommend this activity while in Salzburg.

Authentic and Wonderful - Our teenage daughter really wanted to take this class while we were in Salzburg. First of all, the city is absolutely stunning. I wish that we could have stayed there longer. This apple strudel cooking class was such a hit with our teens. It was fun and delicious and the goulash for lunch was just as delightful as the apple strudel. This is not to miss!!!

STRUDEL & NOCKERLN & FUN in 90 Mins - I booked the cooking course as a present for my mom, for our trip to Salzburg - and was a bit sceptic if really all was to be accomplished in the 90 Minutes of the course. But as they let you do only the fun parts (no chopping, only preparing making and eating!) - it was a really great 90 Mins and we had it all! The instructions were done very well and easy to understand - the company was nice - the food was great! The no-fuss-down-to-earth approach to preparing the dishes, was very welcome, as it took away the fear of doing something wrong while preparing the Strudel or Nockerl.
