Memorable, entertaining excursion to the Bavarian mountains and mine. - Memorable experience! My partner and I greatly enjoyed hearing the regional history from our guide and driver, Johannes. He was fun and helpful, answering our questions during the drive from Salzburg into the mountains. The hour stop in Berchtesgaden was lovely. We explored the shops and stopped for coffee. From there we went to the Salt Mine. The little train ride into the mine was exciting. And we loved the slides! The audio guides were set up well, allowing us to easily follow along in English. The mine tour guide was entertaining and we enjoyed the entire experience, with a few surprises! Would definitely recommend. Johannes was prompt in picking us up after the tour and we had a pleasant drive back to Salzburg.

Fun! - Learned so much about the salt mining Industry. Great trip for young and old. We lived being in Austria and Germany. Slides were an added bonus!

Salt mine tour - Awesome tour that saved our dray from a poor walking tour we had earlier. Guide, Richard, was great and gave a lot of information in an engaging and fun way. Was a full tour but he made use all very included. Gave attention to all and was available for questions. Salt mine itself was super cool and a lot more fun than I had thought it would be. Didn't realize it's still a working salt mine. Very interesting a cool.

Fun tour - Really enjoyed the tour. Great value for money and informative. Our guide Walter was very good loved our time in the snow as well and the time we had at the Xmas market. Will recommend to our friends and family

Dont mis sthis tour because its a great short tour - Great way to see and understand how salt is mined. It was knowledgeable. Obratt, our tour guide was funny and entertaining. Many great scenic spots on our way up as well as the mines although we arent alalowed to taake photos inside. The slide into the belly of the mine was thrilling.

Beautiful landscapes! - Very good tour and it was a great bonus to be able to see a German Christmas Market also in the process. The salt mine tour was ok, there are better salt mine experiences elsewhere, such as Krakow, but the landscapes overall were beautiful.
