• The Eagle’s Nest - From the Obersalzberg, access the Eagle’s Nest using special buses and an elevator. Enjoy 2 hours at the Eagle’s Nest. Take a walk to the nearby summit Kehlstein to admire the breathtaking Bavarian and Austrian Alps. From November 1st to around May 10th, depending on snow conditions, the Eagle’s Nest direct access road is closed. Alternatively, a visit to the Rossfeld summit is offered. From this vantage point, enjoy panoramic views of the stunning Austrian and Bavarian Alps and the nearby Eagle’s Nest. This option is also available when the Eagle’s Nest is open, for those who prefer a less crowded, more local site.
• Burg Hohenwerfen - The Castle of Werfen is one of the most impressive mountain fortifications in the Alps and was featured in the movie “Where Eagles Dare” with Richard Burton and Clint Eastwood. It was the Castle of Werfen that was used as the Eagle’s Nest, not the original location in the Bavarian Alps. Be amazed by the birds of prey show by the historic state falconers, showcasing mainly native birds of prey in free flight!
• Salzburger Altstadt - After eight hours of exploring the Eagle’s Nest and the “Where Eagles Dare” Castle of Werfen, the private tour will conclude with a drop-off at the Salzburg City hotel or any other location in Salzburg.
