The Marble Hall is considered to be one of the most beautiful and historically significant concert halls of Salzburg and the world.
Mirabell Palace with its gorgeous baroque Gardens was built in 1606 by Prince-Archbishop Wolf-Dietrich. The name is composed of “mirabile” (admirable) and “bella” (beautiful).
Today selected classical concerts with exceptional ensembles, soloists and chamber orchestras take place at this unique venue.
A majority of our concerts are played on historical instruments from Mozart´s time.

The baroque Marble Hall in Mirabell Palace is renowned as one of Austria’s most beautiful and important concert venues. During its golden age, the Mozart family played for Salzburg’s nobility in this hall.
- Please exchange your voucher at the box office in Mirabell Palace ( entrance on the first floor to the Marble Hall) from 6:30 pm until the concert starts at 8 pm)
- Concert starts at 8 pm, doors open at 7:30 pm, box office opens at 7 pm. If the Concert starts at a different time, the box office will open 1hour before the concert start.
- No admission after beginning of the concert
- One intermission (approx. 15 - 20min)
- Refreshments (alcoholic / nonalcoholic) and small snacks available

Best money spent in Salzberg!! - It was a magical concert. The harmony they made was out of this world and I would go again if I came back to Salzberg I the future. It was just perfect with the room in Mirabellgarten. And, every piece they played was just chilling to the bone.

Great concert in a beautiful facility. - The concert was excellent. Extremely talented musicians. It was a full concert, with an intermission. The only issue was the ladies bathroom facilities are too small, with long lines, so go before.

Don’t miss this Salzburg experience . - Amazing experience!!!! Beautiful music in a beautiful setting. Definitely arrive early enough to walk thru the gardens.

Wonderful acoustics - The acoustics were wonderful, and the expertise of the handling of their instruments was amazing. Hearing the full songs of ones we have worked on in jr. Orchestra.

Awe inspiring - What an experience - any where you sit you can see and the acoustics are excellent. The room is so beautiful. Words can’t describe the magic evoked by the musicians. Must do in Salzburg !

Great music if you like classical. - The performances were quite terrific. It’s a small room so you’re right by the musicians. The seats were a bit uncomfortable but you’re only their for 90 minutes.

A Great Evening of Chamber Music - The palace, from the little we could see, was very pretty, but the concert and the hall it was in, were top notch. This was the best chamber music group we heard this trip, with cello solos that were extraordinary.

Enchanting but don’t waste your Money on category 1 - The setting in Mirabell is stunning. The music selection was Mozart and Haydn. Only reason for 4/5 was that we Paid for upgraded seats (category 1) but were sat in almost the very back of the hall. Not sure what the extra money got us.
