Excellent tour to eagles nest - Carlos was an exceptional, knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful tour guide. He gave excellent recommendations through the trip and helped us throughout the day with making bookings and getting the best views. I would highly recommend him to anyone going to Salzburg.

Highest recommendation I can give. This is the tour for you! - This was one of the best tours we have had on all of our travels. Our guide was knowledgeable, fun and friendly. He answered questions and provided us with information that you wouldn’t find with just the informational plaques. He was able to give us some tips and tricks to get the most out of our experience. Honestly if I could have Carlos as a guide for all the activities we’ve been on that would be great. He was a great guide and genuinely seemed to care in providing proper information and guidance in understanding the nuances involved in the history of Salzburg. I cannot recommend this tour more.

Best Tour Guide Carlos and amazing tour of history and scenery - Wow, this was by far our favorite day. In part due to the experience, the scenery, the history, but also due to our private tour guide Carlos. We were a group of 6 family and friends ages 17-69. We were planning to do the Eagle's Nest + boat ride on Konigssee Lake but unfortunately the Eagle's Nest was closed that day for technical issues. Carlos was prompt in picking us up at our apartment in Salzburg, told us of the change of plans immediately and changed the tour to fit our liking to make sure we still got out of it what we wanted. And we did! His Mercedes Van was comfortable and we felt very safe driving with him. We went to Obersalzburg and saw the sites of Hitler's home as well as the homes of Hermann Goering and Martin Bormann, a school, hotel, all where many WWII decisions were made. We also visited the museum and Bunkers built in 1943. Afterwards we made our way to the Alpine Lugge, so fun! And an added addition. Lunch was incredible and we enjoyed it with Carlos and his recommendations on the BEST lemonade and food. Lastly we went to Berchtesgaden and took a boat ride on Konigssee Lake. Carlos never made us feel rushed, we took many stops for the panoramic view of the Bavarian Alps and photos, and even took us by a bank in the morning to exchange money. Carlos was the best tour guide we've ever had.

Beautiful and worth it - Michael (the guide) was incredible! He was very knowledgable and was able to get us in the front of lines and took us to a wonderful place to eat for lunch. We would recommend this for all that are interested. The time at the Eagle's Nest was short (but enough).

Excellent tour! - Our guide was simply excellent. Picked us up from the hotel in a new and roomy luxury car, was on time, brought water for us, and knew the area and it’s history. He was familiar with the tourism spot and other tour guides so we had privileged seating and line placement. He made each arrangement for us so that we spent our time touring and not fighting crowds at the ticket booth. Again, simply excellent experience!

Carlos was WONDERFUL! This tour was... -
Carlos was WONDERFUL! This tour was a highlight of our trip to Salzburg. Carlos did a great job of not only getting us to the Eagles nest, but coordinated other sites we would not have seen if not for him. He managed the trip to engage and entertain our teenage boys. I would do this again in a heartbeat!

Oh my!!! This tour was amazing and... -
Oh my!!! This tour was amazing and our guide, Carlos, was our best tour guide during our two weeks. Carlos picked us up at our hotel in a nice, very clean van. He explained our itinerary for the day and we saw everything and did not feel rushed at all. Carlos's knowledge of the history of these sites was outstanding. He took us to a nice restaurant for lunch in the small village of Berchtesgaden and we were allowed time for shopping. We choose to do the salt mine tour and we are glad we did. It was so much fun!!! Carlos went over and beyond to make this tour special. I had sent an email prior to us leaving to inform the company that one of our children would turn 18 on the day of the tour just to see if they could do something a little special. Did they ever! Carlos got us access to see the original generator at Eagles Nest and also informed the guide at the salt mine who gave Matt a huge piece of salt. How cool was that? On the way back to the hotel, we were having a side conversation about needing to wash clothes. Carlos overheard us and asked if we had detergent. When we said no, he took us to a local market and walked us in. Once inside, he helped us translate and locate other items we needed. He spent over 30 minutes walking us around the store. Carlos is nothing short of amazing. He makes us want to return to see and hear more about Austria. When we do, we will be sure to use this company and ask for Carlos!
