Great! - A must do when in this area We booked the tour as I found out during my research before the trip about the Hitler’s eagle’s nest. I really wanted to see it but unfortunately due to snowfall in September this year we could not see it. Bernie still made the day so much more than I expected: From driving to the remains of the original house of Hitler to the see some of the other remains to the documentation center including the bunker systems and then to the top of a mountain to get almost the same view as from the eagle’s nest. We also saw a nice lake (I do not remember the lake any more) and the spectacular nature there. Absolutely outstanding. If you like the history of World WarII a definite must see!

Berchtesgaden off the beaten track - I knew that this area can be crowed and I have read that the eagle’s nest has sometimes huge waiting lined but what we got was so much more. Our Guide Bernie had the tickets ready, avoided the crowds so that we did not even realized how many people were there. We had the elevator for ourselves, we saw the submarine engine and the views are just stunning! We loved the village of Berchtesgaden and loved the walking tour through it with so much fun stories. Thank you for making this day such a treat.

Such a beautiful area and such a history - I was blown away of how much history I learned during this tour. Maybe I forgot about the positive side of hitler when he raised up and how evil it all turned out. the area is mind-blowing beautiful. Our Guide Gary showed us the mountains and the lakes of this beautiful area. But it really shocked me to learn also the history. I really would not want to have missed this tour. I wish this day could have continued! Such a treat!

Definitely worth the price! - Our tour guide Alex was awesome!!!!! The Eagles Nest was closed due to the road being closed so we couldn’t go up in it. He made up for it by taking us to King’s Lake which was incredible! Alex was incredibly knowledgeable and taught us a lot along the way to and from our hotel! What could have been a bummer (the closing of Eagles Nest), he quickly turned into a positive by taking us to King’s Lake! I highly recommend this company and tour! If you’re lucky enough to get Alex, all the better! He will make sure you enjoy your time and you’ll definitely learn a lot!

A memorable and unique experience - We highly recommend Be Special Tours for a memorable and unique experience. We especially appreciated the personalized attention and the little extras that made the day so special. We visited the Eagle's Nest, the Salt Mines, and several beautiful villages in the lake district. Gray provided so much interesting information and made sure we had a great time.

A Truly Special Experience - We took this tour with Be Special Tours and I can say that they really made us feel special. Our family enjoyed it to the fullest. We saw the lake district area, went on a summer toboggan ride (great fun for the kids), and had some great experiences with a nice mountain lake where we had lunch before arriving in Hallstatt. We enjoyed this little town and despite the crowds, we got a true feeling for the village. We saw so many things we would have never been able to see on our own. I cannot thank you enough for this day!

What a tour! - What a tour! Despite the history that Bernie explained us in a very interesting way, as well as sharing such a big knowledge about this delicate history, it was a great way for us to see the beauty of this area and the views from the mountain tops. We also saw a great lake that made us remind so much of our trip to Canada. We really enjoyed this day and seeing the beauty of this area.

Delightful day in Bavaria and the salt mines! - This was a terrific tour for all ages. Bernie drove us through beautiful Bavarian towns and villages and pointed out interesting sites before we arrived at the salt mine tour. My 20 year old said the salt mine was “the best” with a train, a boat and two slides plus free samples! Really interesting. Bernie them showed us a few more highlights on the way back to the hotel. Delightful’

Not a custom tour…just a car service. - We were incredibly disappointed with the “custom” tour today. While the Mercedes van is nice and comfortable, what Be Special offers isn’t much more than hired car service. We were driven to the ice caves, and then had separate fees for entrance and a tour. When that ended three hours later, we were driven to the Eagle’s Nest. Again, separate fees and guides. Just to be driven back to our rental apartment. No food or snacks were provided, just one bottle of water per person. Do NOT recommend.
