Your private guide will show you where everything was located between 1933 and 1945. Places such as the Berghof grounds, entrance to the bunkers, SS barracks, and much more. After giving you a mental picture and spatial orientation of the mountain, a scale model at the bus terminal will help you understand where everything was located.
-
The Eagle’s Nest - Visit the Eagle’s Nest with your private guide. From the Eagle’s Nest bus terminal, you will board a specially equipped mountain bus for a breathtaking ride up the 4-mile road, with its 27% incline to a rocky plateau. From there, we will walk through a 406 ft (124 meter) long tunnel, leading us directly to the original WWII brass elevator that will transport you up through the heart of the Kehlstein mountain for another 406 ft, straight into the Eagle’s Nest itself. After a tour through the Eagle’s Nest, you will have some free time to enjoy the view or have refreshments.
