- Lake Wolfgang - Then continue to Lake Wolfgang. During a brief photo stop, enjoy the view of Lake Wolfgang and down to St. Gilgen.

Funny informative great tour - We went on this tour on a drizzly Sunday but Kylie soon cheered us all up in her Tyrollean costume and such enthusiasm She was an excellent guide knew all about the Sound of Music and took us to the main locations with plenty of of information
We went around Salzburg out to Mondsee to see the church and for some apple strudel
Would be nice to do again in the spring

Good Times with the sound of Music - The overall experience was great. The tour guide was very knowledgeable on the theme, and we had a fun sing-along. We visited the places from "The Sound of Music," but we were only able to see them from the outside. Even in January these places were picture perfect.

Interactive, great for families, even if you’re not a SOM fan! - Great experience for Sound of Music fans! My young daughter really enjoy this. April was very bubbly and made the tour very interactive. I am imagine most SOM fans liked this! The guide gave bits of other historical info about the area, and the true story of the Von Trapp family which is great for history buffs! All the locations are beautiful so even if you get dragged along on this tour with a fan you will still like it! It’s a great way to see Salzburg and the surrounding areas. A big shout out to Mickey who literally is the best bus driver ever. I do not know how gracefully makes many of those turns!

My childhood dream obsession come true! - I was reliving my 10 year old self - so everything!
I sang every song - the lyric & scenes came back to me.
The doco felt like my doco. And I am 60 going on 70!
And to finish it all off, the meal at the end - was just grand!

Very pleasant tour and lunch - We enjoyed the Sound of Music Tour. The Austrian tour guide Peter was experienced and detailed with facts about the areas.
The places visited were great.
The lunch afterward was extremely nice in an old restaurant dating back to 1546. It was part of the tour purchased.
We had the apple strudel, chicken schnitzel, and salad.

Fabulous - The tour was fantastic - tour guide was amazing - he had so many great stories and facts! The dinner was amazing - I would highly recommend this tour and dinner to any lover of Sound of Music!

Fun for extroverts who get into the sing along - Excellent tour guide .. lots of fun.
We were fortunate to have super fans on the bus so we all really had a blast singing and being very happy

Mostly good - We thoroughly enjoyed the Sound of Music tour. Our guide was informative and quite entertaining as well. She had the whole bus singing as we headed to the hills! Yes, the hills that are alive with the sounds…. One downside. We were led to believe the lunch was part of the tour. It’s not. You walk quite a distance to get to lunch and it’s after the tour ends. We had a train to catch and did not have time to find the restaurant in another part of town. This should be explained. We have taken several tours with Viator when traveling on our own or cruising and have more scheduled. We have had two recent experiences where instructions were unclear or misleading. This one was minor, but another one caused us to miss our tour. We’re still waiting to see what Viator will do to make this right. Don’t miss the sound of music tour, though. It’s great!
