Scenery, singing and laughs with Simon - Simon was a fabulous tour leader-very witty, he provided really interesting details about the making of the film. Loved going to the lakes district, Mondsee was gorgeous. Toilet stops included, and free time to buy delicious cake and ice cream 😊

A must do for and SOM fan! - Yesterday we took the train from Vienna to Salzburg to do the Sound of Music tour. Finding the pick up location was easy. The Panorama staff were all so friendly. We had Carlee as our guide. She’s Australian but fit the part in her traditional Bavarian outfit. She was so good at balancing humor with all the great information about the movie. I learned so much more and I thought I knew everything after watching the movie and documentary several times. Dragon is an amazing driver as well. I enjoyed being in his bus. I can’t recommend this tour and the Panorama tour group enough. I’ll be using them again in other locations.

An absolute must do in Salzburg! - Absolutely brilliant! Great value and well worth the money for all Sound of Music fans! Kylie was fantastic! So knowledgeable, entertaining and full of interesting facts! It took over 4 hours and had several stops for photos, toilet and a little bit of strudel if you so desired!

Brilliant afternoon out! - Kylie was brilliant, she was great to listen to & had so many interesting & fun facts about the sound of music & Salzburg in general. We particularly loved the sing along parts! Our only disappointment was you don’t get to stop at a couple of iconic points of the movie, you only drive past Nonnburg Abbey & Frohnburg Palace so don’t really get to see them or get any good photos & there’s also no stop at any mountains or hills for the iconic twirling picture. However saying that, we really loved the tour and would recommend to other sound of music fans!

Highlight of my trip to Austria - I left my husband to visit some Austrian Museums and booked myself onto this trip. I had read many of the reviews and had watched the movie again beforehand, so felt prepared, but it was even better than I had expected. I absolutely loved it and would recommend asking for the Australian female guide ( sorry, I’ve forgotten her name) who dressed the part and was both enthusiastic and knowledgeable throughout. She made the trip!

Fun day celebrating the Sound of Music. - Despite the rainy day we had a great day celebrating the Sound of Music. Tour guide was extremely engaging and had us in hysterics in parts as we sang our way through the countryside to some familiar sites. Dress ups allowed, drinks available for those needing some courage to sing.

Guide Dislikes the Movie, seems - The older gentlemen tour guide we had I think is bored and doesn’t like the movie. Don’t they understand we are excited about seeing/hearing about movie we love?? He clearly believes Hollywood tricked us all, started by grouching that only 10% of the movie is true (there are other approaches), also said the real Maria was unattractive. Etc, etc. I went on a Sound of Music tour 10 years ago, and it was the most fun thing ever. Not with this guy/company. Disaster.
