A brilliant experience for fans and anyone - This was a great trip, visiting all the filming locations for the sound of music. The tour guide was great and he imparted knowledge in a fun way, with a lot of laughter. We had a singalong on the bus, and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience

Amazing tour! - What an amazing 4 hours of beautiful scenery, interesting facts and fun. Our friendly and enthusiastic tour guide, Simon, made the experience unforgettable - he was very knowledgeable, funny and helpful. Would 100% recommend this tour to anyone.

Top tour with an amazing guide. - The Sound of Music tour has been on our Bucket List for a very long time. Finally we were in Salzburg and we booked the tour directly with Panorama Tours. The manager of the tour company was a driver for the crew and actors at the time of the filming of the film in Salzburg and saw many people from the crew on this tour. We were a lot of people and were divided into groups of 8 and went out with smaller vans instead of the large Panorama Tours bus. The advantage of this was that we could hear the expert explanation of Birgit our driver/guide better and also question her in a small group. She did a more than excellent job and also knew many anecdotes about the recording days. Moreover, she was a very sweet lady who loved what she did, you could feel that. The tour was all about visiting as many film locations as possible and took us in order to Mirabella Palace, Leopoldskon Palace, Hellbrunn Castle, the village of St Gilgen and the Basilica of St Michael in Mondsee.

Wonderful tour of Salzburg for Sound of Music fans! - This was an amazing tour and a great way to see the sites of the Sound of Music and also to see Salzburg and the beautiful Austrian countryside. I loved this tour and would recommend it to anyone who loves the Sound of Music and is visiting Salzburg. Our tour guide Peter was excellent and told us great stories. One of my favorite experiences on our vacation.

Rain or shine- The hills are singing! - Even with the rain, the tour was amazing. We had Dave as our tour guide and the bus driver Malfred, their tour and singing skills were superb. The tour started with the back of the gardens known as the Leopold gardens where we learned many behind the scenes sneak peeks that will guarantee you watching the movie the second you get off the bus to see the differences you didn't see before. You then travel to one of the gazebos for the second spot and then continue the scenic route to the mountains. My personal favorite was the Wolfgangsee Lake, maybe the prettiest view that I have seen. On the way back we sung the sound track as we were literally in the hills of music. Totally worth the 55 euros, even from a cheap student perspective!

Sound Of Music Tour - This was a very enjoyable tour from the moment we were on the coach. David was our guide and knew everything there was to know about the Sound of Muisc, He kept us informed throughout the whole tour. It was a wonderful experience. Thank you

Informative four hours with a singalong - Very informative with sing alongs on the Coach. Visited five venues in and outside Salzburg so also an opportunity to see the lovely countryside around Salzburg. Would have given a five star review but the coach entertainment system was faulty so audio output was patchy which was disappointing. Nevertheless, excellent rep who made sure we were well informed and highlighted where the facilities’ were.

Great - Guide was very knowledgeable about the material and seemed to enjoy what she does. The only reason I can’t give 5 stars is we all we crammed into a mini van and it was hard to see some of the sights.

Interesting - The guide is VERY passionate about the sound of music tour. You see some beautiful sights however i only recommend if you really enjoy the movie because otherwise all the singing can be a bit much!
