Nice tour of major sights in Samarkand - We really enjoyed our tour with Amin. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to communicate with (during the tour and in advance). He was also flexible (we adjusted the itinerary a bit to remove a couple of activities we were less excited about and added a couple of others instead). His car has air conditioning, which was nice during our summer visit. I would recommend this to other tourists that would like to see the major sights in Samarkand.

Excellent Experience with Amin in Samarkand - I had the pleasure of being guided by Amin during my visit to Samarkand. Amin picked me up promptly at the Samarkand train station and took me on a tour of the city's most iconic sites. We visited Registan Square, Bibi-Khanym Mosque and Mausoleum, Shah-i-Zinda, Amir Temur Mausoleum Gur-i Amir Complex, and Ulugbek’s Observatory. Amin’s deep knowledge of the history and significance of each site made the experience truly enriching. His explanations about Timur’s influence on Uzbekistan and Central Asia, as well as Ulugbek’s remarkable contributions to science, were both informative and captivating. Amin also introduced me to a fantastic local restaurant, Джони Ош Самарканд (Пловная Джони), where I had the opportunity to try the best plov (I can say this now after trying plov at every city on my trip) I've ever tasted. Amin went above and beyond to make sure I experienced the local culture fully. He took me to Siyob Bazaar to experience the bustling stalls and sample some fresh produce. I even tried a locally flavored carbonated drink made on the spot by a street food seller—great for the hot day. His warm, friendly, and jovial nature made the entire tour even more enjoyable.

Amin, your friendly local Samarkand historian! - If you’re looking for the best tour guide in Samarkand, it’s Amin. Our hotel organised Amin to take me on a custom private tour of Samarkand. He is knowledgeable, polite, professional, speaks incredible English, and very passionate about the history. Cannot fault and would highly recommend! He even offered to take photos and they all turned out amazing. He knows a lot of people and it makes getting in and out of sights very streamlined. I wish to flag that I arranged this tour as a solo female traveller, and Amin is the perfect companion to show anyone the sights and sounds of Samarkand.

Amazing!!! - Our tour guide Sevinch was amazing!! She was personable, accommodating, flexible and so knowledgeable!!! My husband and I are so happy we had her as our guide. We are photographers but also love art history and architecture and she knew her stuff while also being able to tell us about the history of Uzbekistan. We enjoyed the carpet factory and the knowledge we gained on different tiles. We also enjoyed learning about Uzbek astronomy and Amir Temur. We will never forget this experience
