Great Day Private Tour of Samarkand - Muhammed was amazing and he was very flexible with my friend and I. He was knowledgeable and had a good sense of the city and its history. He did not push us and let us decide our speed. Muhammed had good recommendations and was always accommodating. I highly suggest him as a tour guide for the day in Samarkand.

Enriching tour of Samarkand - This was an incredible tour, I enjoyed every part of it. it was extremely knowledgeable and very interesting.
Each location was special and beautiful. Very lucky as the sky was clear and the day warmed as we visited locations. Highly Recommend.

Fun and informative - Was really fun and informative. Our guide Olim was a Samarkand native and was incredibly friendly and managed to show us all the main parts of the city without it feeling rushed. He also shared loads of information about general Uzbek life. We received great recommendations for dining as well how to spend the rest of our trip

Perfect trip , thanks to Mr. Fayzullo. - We visited Uzbekistan / Tajikistan in January , and Silk Road Travellers ensured we had a perfect trip.
We chose them for ALL our excursions - Samarkand day trip , Tashkent tour , and Khujand Day Tour from Tashkent , as well as our airport transfers to/from Hilton. Mr. FAYZULLO takes personal interest , and is able to provide a customized experience as per your requirements.

A not to miss day trip - One of the most amazing day trips I have ever had. Samarkand is an mazing place , with fabulous monuments combining a mixture of Arabic,Iranian, Russian, Mongul and Soviet influences. The tour guide was excellent and gave us an amazing frame of this historical place. Definitely recommended

Overpriced - Alim was personable and informative throughout the tour. My group and I loved that he shared just the right amount of information without overwhelming us.
We did not love that we had to pay for every entrance and meal after paying $65 each for the tour. To be clear our additional cost were about $30 each with entrances and food. Considering the $195 paid to Viator, we spent $285 as a group of 3 but the tour guide only received $50 total for the day. Booking directly with a local guide or arranging transportation and walking through the sites independently would have been much more cost effective.
