Great introduction to Uzbekistan. - I had a really great time on this trip. My guide was very knowledgeable and i appreciate that despite this being a group trip and it ending up just me on the tour, he still took the tour and gave all the attention to detail. I was very fortunate to have this tour on my own and I learnt a lot about both Samarkand and Uzbekistan in general and loved piecing the history together. Some of the buildings are magnficent and majestic and it was an awe to be in them. I never felt rushed and i felt like everywhere i went was in order to get the most out of the experience. Would definitely recommend this tour. Well worth it.

Same tour but cheaper than everyone else - All other tours on the site are 50+ USD per person. This one is 20 USD. They take you to the same places. I got a private tour since no one else signed up. I appreciate them for not cancelling. Can I complain about a private tour for $20? Of course not. My guide, Alyor, even gave me a ride in his car between the sites. I would recommend.

Great tour - Knowledgeable guide and fantastic value for money - shows you around the main sights of Samarkand with an understanding of their history.

Ilyor was fantastic…. - Don’t do many reviews but Ilyor was fantastic . Knowledgable and pleasant and patient with our diverse group. We have had several tours in our Uzbek trip and he was so far the best one. We were a family of 4 with two teenagers.

Excellent value for money tour - The guide was really knowledgeable about everything we saw. We were a bit dubious at first because of the cost but it was a really good tour at a very reasonable price. Definitely recommend

Do yourself a favor and book this trip. - Adkham is one of the hardest working and most passionate guides I’ve ever met. Be prepared to get your steps in as this tour covers most of the major sites of Samarkand, which left me feeling exhausted but also like I’d gotten the most out of a full day. I admire how he maintains such high spirits throughout given how physically taxing the experience can be. (And I caution those who aren’t in relatively good shape or those visiting on an especially warm summer’s day that this isn’t an exactly a leisurely stroll around town.) Adkham knows the history of his native city as only a local can, and you can tell how much he beams with pride to call Samarkand his home. You’d be lucky to get the chance to have him show you around like I was. Thank you, Adkham. I’m grateful for sharing your knowledge.

Very satisfied with our and our tour. - Very well informed , friendly and flexible guide, we ended up having a private walking tour of most of Samarkand’s wonders and also places off the beaten track. Definitely recommend this tour as not only is it exactely what you need but at very very resonable price. And, who knows, it may end up being private.

A very pleasant tour - Our guide has abundant knowledge of the history and heritage of Samarkand and Central Asia. Also, by going through all the spots, we've been able to learn almost every aspect of the local lives. That's what went beyond my expectations. On that day there were many tourists, and many spots were very crowded, but our guide was always patient and helpful.

Great guide - They were very kind and gave us a detailed explanation. They even explained the back side of the building, which not many tourists see, and we had a fun and fulfilling time.

Don’t believe TUI / Marella WiFi non existent - Whilst on a Caribbean cruise we had to stay in touch with UK to support an elderly relative. We were advised to take out the most expensive package. The signal was no existent in the cabin so it was useless. We complained on board and were told to claim a refund from TUI when we returned. TUI are not interested in the least. A lovely holiday has been ruined by appalling customer service and being significantly out of pocket. Not even a good will gesture, to be honest their response was downright rude. We’re so annoyed that we are seriously considering boycotting marella and TUI forever!! AVOID RIPOFF WIFI PACKAGES!!
