Samarkand with a world-class Guide - Samarkand has so many fantastic stories and if one were to visit the place without a guide, it'd all be lost on them. We were lucky to have one of the best guides, Ms. Mokhigul, who not only knew her stuff but knew it well with surprising accuracy. She could rattle off events that occurred over several centuries like as if she was there. It helped that she was a University lecturer and her English was excellent. Despite our trip coinciding with Ramadan when Muslims fast, she arranged excellent meals for us, and even helped us to order our food. I strongly recommend a trip to Samarkand with Ms Mokhigul.

Great tour and excellent organisation - An overall excellent tour of Samarkand, organised spotlessly. Drivers, Ali our tour manager (in Tashkent), and tour guides were always with us to take us to where we needed to be. The tour itself of Samarkand was super interesting. Amira, my guide for the day, was extremely knowledgable and even tailored her explanations to my interests (as there was no one else in the group). Fully recommend the experience to anyone in Tashkent with a day to spare and wanting to explore the cultural & historic capabital of Uzbekistan.

Day tour to Samarkand from Tashkent - Ali, our contact at Tashkent was great he kept us informed of pickup etc. And took us right to our seats in train to Samarkand. Met us at train station upon return and put us in a car for return to hotel. Our guide in Samarkand, Mokhigul, was very knowledgeable and helpful the entire day. Long day, lots of walking so wear comfortable walking shoes. High speed train took about 2.5 hours each way, a snack & coffee was included.

Great City, lot of history and a great guide! - Uzbekistan was a very nice surprise and the tour that we’ve booked with this company was extraordinary. The local guide in Tashkent was on time and very friendly. When we’ve arrived in Samarkand by train, the guide over there was waiting for us and the tour started. We had a great tour with lots of infos about the history and culture in Uzbekistan. I fully recommend them!!!!

Perfect day trip Tashkent > Samarkand - Highly recommended from start to finish. Special thanks to our wonderful guide, Shohrux. Arranged everything from my hotel to SKD & back. So much to see that I’d love to stay longer another time, but if all you have is a day this is perfect.

Great day in Samarkand - This was a wonderful excursion. I was met at my hotel and taken to the station where the driver escorted me to my train carriage. The train was punctual and quick and I was met at the station in Samarkand. My guide, Mokhigul, was incredibly knowledgeable and told me so much about the history and culture of Uzbekistan. The mosques and mausoleums we visited in Samarkand are stunningly beautiful. Lunch was a delicious plov in a local restaurant. At the end of the day I was taken back to the station and met at the other end in Tashkent. I would highly recommend this trip.

Day Trip: Samarkand with 7 year old triplets - We went to Go to Uzbekistan tour company and had an amazing experience. From start to finish it was a total of 12 hours. We traveled with our 7 year old triplets and they too enjoyed the history lesson. We were so happy with Moha our tour guide, Ali who organised our pick up and drop offs and our driver. The day was seamless. Thank you team.
