A wonderful way to spend half a day in Bangkok. - A beautiful place to visit. Peaceful and relaxing. So many wonderful things to see and we enjoyed this tour very much. It was great to have the safety and security of a private driver who looked after us and arranged the tickets etc. Prompt and efficient in a comfortable air conditioned vehicle. We also enjoyed the buffet lunch included in our tour. We hired the golf cart so we could enjoy the place without too much walking. I'd accidentally booked for the wrong day (when we would have been flying home) and Viator fixed the problem and changed the booking for us easily. Have used Viator many times now and very happy with them.

Beautiful Location and accommodating times~ - We did not realize the ancient city was a big area. It was very beautiful. We even got to rent a golf cart to drive around to make sure we got to see everything. Our driver was on time and very accommodating. We always appreciate the companies picking us up from our hotel. It was a wonderful experience and would do again.

Fast and fabulous!! - Fabulous!!! Driver met me a little early. Good driving skills. Bought my ticket. Offered a golf cart rental, but they already sold out. Driver drove me through the park, at my pace and desire. He took my picture when wanted. It was a really HOT day and I was tired so this was PERFECT for me. If it had been under cooler weather I’m sure walking around and experiencing each area would have been lovely. This was FANTASTIC!! Versatile tour! Great communication with office also!!

Ancient City Museum well worth the visit - Our driver showed up early in a car just for the two of us and drove us to the Ancient city museum. On arrival the driver showed us inside and sorted out the entry ticket for us and then he helped us to organise the rental of the golf buggy to get around the museum on. He then told us to enjoy and after he made sure we were in the buggy ready to go he told us to WhatsApp him when we were finished. Remember to take driving license or passport with you. We drove around the open air museum for 2 hours enjoying all the replica buildings and gardens. That 2 hours went really fast. The rental of the golf buggy is 350 baht for 1 hour then 100 baht for each additional hour. Our driver was waiting for us when we finished the tour and returned us to our hotel. It was a really great experience and we had the chance to go around the museum at our own pace. Would highly recommend!

Pleasant beautiful site, confusing arrangements. - A grand replica, beautiful buildings and grounds, not crowded and easy to get around by golf cart. The arrangements were confusing as we were picked up by taxi and our driver did not speak English. He was very polite, however could not explain anything about what was to happen. Once we arrived he led us to an English speaking staff member who reported that he would wait for us and then take us back. This meant he had to wait about 4 hours which seemed a poor use of his time. The grounds are large so renting a golf cart (350 Baht for first hour and 100 for each additional hour) is necessary as the trams only go to 4 stops and then wait at each for 20 or 30 minutes. For us it was too hot to walk any distance. We also rented an audio guide which worked intermittently. The visit to the site of the Ancient City was pleasant as you could visit as much or as little as you like and take the time you need. As a bonus there was a small herd of water buffalo with 2 small calves.

Wouldn’t recommend to anyone - The only thing about this that went well was having a driver to go to and from. However, my driver didn’t know English so he was unable to help me when I ran into a problem upon arriving. No where in this listing did it state to bring your physical passport or drivers license with you to rent a golf cart, which of course was my plan. I was forced to opt for the tram option which only stops at a few spots with a massive group of people, and you’re given a set time to come back and left waiting for everyone else. When it comes to the “museum” itself I realllly disliked it. It’s a cheesy tourist trap with massive Korean boy band cut outs and big plastic monkeys, to me all the original, authentic, historical feeling had been sucked out and replaced. No to mention this place abuses elephants.
