Ponton For a family walk with tranquility - If you want a quiet and safe ride this is the best alternative since not being a boat the ride is much quieter and safer for children and elderly people. Eye not with mobility problems that for them there is not much prepared. In short the option to meet and enjoy an experience for snorkeling and swimming in the middle of the sea.

aquriam/haynes cay - make sure you confirm it is private (including the transportation!). This tour takes you to two small islands (haynes cay and the aquarium) and the mangroves. the first trip is private then they told the second transportation we will be joined by 15 other ppl. i was confused since i booked a PRIVATE tour. No biggie bcuz we told the capt to drop us off at the aquarium/ haynes cay, and to do his other route and then pick us up later. we had to give him extra for his gas but no bigie... i'm glad we did that, we ended up going to the aquarium , had lunch there and went to haynes cay. it is a bit crowded and make sure you bring water shoes. Def recommend haynes cay, much more secluded and private. we stayed there for 3 hrs, capt picked us up and we docked somewhere in the middle of the ocean. this was amazing and we got to see the 7 colors. very beautiful.

Good experience - pluses: the tour was according to the itinerary and the scenery was beautiful. the guide tried to explain everything in as much detail as possible minuses: it was not multilingual as mentioned in the description, and the boat was a completely different one.

😊 - The trip was much more expensive than if we had booked it on the spot. I understand it's through an intermediary, but in the minuses I'll write why I wasn't that satisfied. As a minus I rate it that we mainly ordered a pontoon boat which is more stable on the waves than the smaller boats that do trips around the island. We mainly ordered it through an English-speaking guide who wasn't on the boat and we would have had almost nothing from the interpretation if it weren't for a married couple who knew a little English and explained something to us. (There are very few people on the island and in Kolimbia who speak English. So we paid unnecessarily for a service that wasn't really available. Trip was nice. It took about 7 hours with nice stops. It's a shame that we had to get off the boat at the Aquarium to get our things and lock them in lockers there. Some pontoons were docked on the shallows and you could get on and off the boat whenever you wanted and leave your things on the boat without having to fight your way through tourists to get your things, because there are so many of them in these places and it would be better to just walk to the boat to get what you need at the moment (money, snorkeling gear, etc.)
