Mitad del Mundo Museum and Telferiqo - Daniel provided a great personalised tour experience for us. We learnt so much about Ecuador and Quito on this 4 hour tour. We chose to do the Middle of the world museum rather than the monument. The museum was smaller and more interactive. I was completely distracted by the number of Hummingbirds around the museum which was an added bonus of our tour. We also loved the Telferiqo cable car up to Pichincha. Make sure you take a jacket as it's 4000m and quite chilly. Great service. Would highly recommend Daniel.

Quito…equator and cable car - Daniel, the tour guide, was fantastic. His depth of knowledge of the region was outstanding, and he had a quick answer for every question I asked. Our conversation flowed seamlessly, and I could not have spent my time in any better way. I felt totally safe the venture time. Ask for Daniel if you want a great experience!

Our Experience - We had a great private tour with our local guide! We visited the equator and several points of interest in Quito. Our guide took us on a private chocolate tasting experience and then to his favorite local coffee roaster where we purchased coffee beans roasted the same morning.

Perfect half-day tour in Quito - We had a great experience with our private guide Daniel. We had the option of going to a couple different spots for the Mitad del Mundo. Daniel said they were both great, just depends on whether you want the historical line and monument or the newer more accurate. We went for the historical line, which had great photo opportunities (with Daniel's guidance and picture-taking), plus an informative history of Ecuador narrated by Daniel as we went down the tower. The teleferico was great, too. Remember to pack a sweatshirt as it is in the low 40s year-round at the top. Daniel was flexible throughout and provided good guidance and friendly conversation.
