Kids enjoyed every moment!! - My family enjoyed our visit. There was construction going on as they building new encounters, but it didn’t interfere with seeing the animals. The only animal that was sleeping was the lion. The kids are already asking to go back in 2025 once the construction is complete.

The Best Zoo I Have Ever Visited-! Be Sure To Get A Fun Pass & Feed The Animals ! - Unlike Maryland & D.C. Zoos, we were actually able to get up close & personal & feed with these zoo animals with our Fun Pass ! The Giraffe feeding ,the Kangaroo Cuddle, & the Flamingo Mingle were highlights for our entire family The misting stations & cooling tents were a terrific idea. This is by far the best zoo we have ever visited. The prices were reasonable & the employees were friendly & helpful. We'll be back !

Had to see Timothy and all the other amazing animals! - Being from the area where Queen Fiona, the hippo, lives, we HAD to go see her admirer, Timothy the Hippo, while we were in San Antonio! We love the Hippo area, as it is very well done and can accommodate more people than Cincinnati's so yay for you! The rest of the zoo did not disappoint. We loved how things were laid out and it was easy to find your way to food, restrooms, and exhibits. All of the animals seemed to have to a good amount of room in their habitats and all seemed well taken care of! Our kiddos especially loved feeding the Flamingos and learned a lot about how they eat. This is a fantastic zoo and great for all ages! We'll visit again if we are ever in the area!

Lots to See - Zoo was a lot bigger than I thought. Very pleasant experience. Loved it. My only criticism is when we went to purchase dippin dots, the cashier asked us to wait while she was socializing with a co-worker trying to remember a phone number to write down and give to her. As a small line was forming behind me, I guess it was more important to exchange phone numbers vs serving customers. The gentleman working the giraffe exhibit was so friendly and full of facts, it was so very nice speaking to him!! Best part of the zoo.

The zoo was pretty cool!! - I will give it a 4 ,because there were workers around the majority of the animals to give you explanations about the animal and its habitat. There were not many places where there was shade. But I will say all animals were out where you can see them up close.

Not great but okay - I had a bit higher expectations. I wish there were more interaction opportunities with the animals. No elephants was disappointing. Would have been great if there was a small petting zoo area.

Mostly birds - This zoo is big and has the potential to be really cool but we spent around 4 hours walking around this zoo and pretty much only saw birds. It’s a beautiful area and it was a fun date but it is definitely lacking. Expect more of an aviary than a zoo. There are very few large animals. I did see they were working on building an elephant and gorilla exhibit but right now this zoo is seriously lacking. Especially for the prices they charge.

Trip was so upsetting & a waste of money - We visited with our young children and they were looking forward to all the Animals. Lions, bears, hippos, jaguar, etc.. the ones everyone wants to see. We'll, not 1 of those were seen!! We saw a lot of birds, but not ONE of those other animals were seen. My kids ASKED me if we could just leave. It was so incredibly disappointing. Not only that, we wasted money on 6 tickets!
