The Zoo Experience 🦍🦒🦛 - We recently had a delightful family outing at the San Antonio Zoo. Grounds and Maintenance: The zoo’s grounds were impeccably maintained. Clean pathways, lush greenery, and well-kept enclosures made our visit enjoyable. It’s evident that the staff takes pride in their work. Restrooms: Clean and accessible restrooms are essential during family outings. We were pleased to find well-maintained facilities throughout the zoo. Staff: The zoo staff went above and beyond to assist. Whether it was answering questions, providing directions, or ensuring a smooth experience, their friendly demeanor made a positive impact. Overall, the San Antonio Zoo is a fantastic place for families. With over 8,500 animals across 56 acres, it’s a must-visit for animal enthusiasts. We’ll definitely be back!

Nice Zoo, Getting Bigger - We enjoyed our visit. Probably need 2 to 3 hours to see whole thing. It was very nice and had different warm weather animal areas, like Savannah and Australia and South America.

Absolutely wild - The Kangaroo experience was awesome. Definitely go in the morning when the animals are awake. The exhibits are incredible. If it is raining a little that also helps with the animals playing. The butterfly experience was amazing.

Very nice zoo - So much to see! Very clean zoo and lots to do for families! I loved this zoo as well because they had several cooling stations. This is nice on hot days. I’m from the East Coast and have never seen this in our zoos.

HOT, HOT, HOT! - It was very hot and not many animals were visible. I would recommend going early in the morning. Don't forget sunscreen and wear comfortable shoes.

Horrible. - It's all a money making scam. Walked around looking at nothing but empty cages. Paid as much to get in as we did to buy four drinks. Was told that for the safty of their animals we could only get straws if we paid 18.00 for it. At the outpost by Victor. Then we had to argue with him just to buy disposable cup drinks. He kept trying to force us to pay 20.00 per drinks. Do not waste your time all you will see is squirrels and crows. Just give them your money and get it over with.
