Great trip, great guide and great service! - Great trip, great guide and great service! I was picked up at my hotel in a minibus. The fastest road was closed, so we were lucky enough to see a lot on the way to the starting point, and also on the way back (another route) - a great bonus! The hike went through a beautiful, quiet area and suprisingly a pinewood. Fantastic view on top. The guide has a lot of knowledge about the area, the island, outdoor activities an nature in general 👍 Water, fruit, nuts and cookies included. Great value - recommended!

Ruta de Los Azulejos / Great hike with great views - We had an amazing hike with Miguel. While we were supposed to go to Roque Nublo, there was an unexpected road closure (not advertised on the government website...) and Miguel gave all of us (7 in total) options: spend a lot of time driving to the original destination or, "plan B" — do another hike. We unanimously rejected the idea of spending most of the beautiful day in the car, and as it turned out, it was for the better. So we did Ruta de Los Azulejos instead. It was an intermediate level rather than easy route which I liked a lot. The views were stunning! Miguel, the guide, is an awesome man, native of the Canaries, and knows a lot about the local geography, geology, and nature. I also liked his sense of humor. Miguel took good care of us, lending water, trekking poles, snacks, and his hand when needed. The hike was true to the description of the website — plenty of color (due to iron & sulfur in the rocks), pine forest at the top. On the way back we stopped at a local shop for some refreshments. I'll definitely come back for other hike next time I'm on the island!

Amazing experience - Our guide was excellent with plenty of knowledge and hospitality. Ideal weather for hiking as it was December. Our 11 year old son also really enjoyed the hiking. The view was amazing. It was a wonderful and valuable experience. Worth it!

Fantastic hike with Miguel - Had a fantastic hike with Miguel, who was incredibly welcoming and informative. It really did surpass our expectations. Because of the bad weather around Roque Nublo we were offered an alternative hike around Los Azulejos, which was absolutely stunning!

Beautiful hike, great guide - Going on a nice hike was definitely on our Gran Canaria bucket list, and doing this one was well worth it! Beautiful views through a variety of landscapes and a nice picknick on top of Roque Nublo itself. We were with a small group, which was nice as it meant we got to ask our guide Miguel all the questions we wanted. Miguel was amazing too: very kind and very knowledgable!!

Canceled for seemingly fabricated reasons - The host cancelled the excursion at 6pm the day before, citing a forecast of rain. In fact the forecast showed only a 15% chance of rain. The day itself was the warmest and driest for several weeks according to a local. However had it rained I imagine it would have been the lighest of showers (as had been the case the day before) and nowhere near sufficient to render the excursion either unsafe or unenjoyable. There was no response from the host to my message requesting a refund. I had to go out of my own way and contact Viator. I now need to wait three to seven working days for my refund to come through. Terrible all round.
