Fun experience for everyone, but book in advance. - We had not booked a ticket and therefore had to wait almost 2 hours on our trip. However, we were happy that we did it as it was a fun experience for both adults and teenagers. So book in advance. Those who came after us had to go again because there were no more seats that day.

Great experience but bad queueing - The camels were brilliant fun. It was a great ride. Please note that the queuing is not well organised. It is not clear that when you arrive for your slot you will then have to queue again for an exact slot. We arrived at 9:30 for a pre-booked 9-12 slot and had to queue for 30 minutes and were then given a ticket for 12. There is nothing much to do in the area while you wait. The camels are great but be ready for waiting around.

Good experience - Good experience, only downside is we had to wait 2 hours for our slot. There isn’t anything near the camels to fill the time.

Family friendly, enjoyable experience. - Enjoyable experience with the camel rides in the Maspalomas Dunes. The kids had a great time. Could take plenty of photographs. Had to book a week in advance but unable to pick a specific time for the day we went. Best to arrive at 8.40am to get out first or you could be left waiting up to an hour as it is busy. They look after the camels well and are very professional and friendly staff.

Good but if require refund don't bother - Still waiting on a partial refund as my husband wasn't allowed to ride (weight problem 100kg+). Wife enjoyed but quite pricey for what you get. Done once not again.

Terrible experience - Booked without properly delving into the reviews. Didn't realize you're actually on animals. Once we arrived it was already super badly arranged. We arrived 11:15, and were told to come back at 2pm. Once back, my boyfriend and I got a really bad feeling on this trip. Camels looked tired/bad. Basket around the mouth, and a lot of moaning from the camels. They are stuck in short succession and run close together. Wept on the camel and counted down the whole ride with my friend when we could get off. Once we were able to get off the camel (we were the last), the camels didn't want anymore and started to fight. The camels were hit with the stairs you sat with your legs on. Nothing of animal welfare present. This is the worst thing I've ever done in my whole life and I feel incredibly guilty that we did this. I do not understand why this is promoted from travel agencies and from the island. Animal cruelty!

Most worthless treatment ever - Did not participate. There is a maximum weight and that is first exceeded by me. That in itself is not bad I knew I could not participate. The lady points to a sign that says it at the cash register, then she calls a colleague who I have to follow and he hands me a scale. I asked him why he should do that when I already know I'm over the max. He referred again to his female colleague who had sent me with him. I spoke to her calmly and she kept pointing at the sign. She didn't take responsibility for not asking me if I met the weight or not. Incidentally, no scales were required. I am 1.90 and far from a small stature. I find the demand quite understandable but the treatment was very offensive and derogatory.
