Fantastic Paracas and Huacachina tour – a must-do in Peru - We took this Paracas and Huacachina day tour in January and it was one of the best experiences of our trip to Peru. It’s a great way to explore amazing places outside Lima in just one day, with everything very well organized. The dune buggy and sandboarding experience in Huacachina was the highlight for us. Driving through the desert dunes was thrilling and super fun, and the views were stunning. Definitely one of the most unique experiences you can have in Peru. The service provided by Alturismo was excellent. The transportation was comfortable, the schedule was well managed, and everything felt safe and professional. A special thanks to our guide, who was very knowledgeable, friendly, and made the whole tour enjoyable with great explanations. I would definitely do this tour again on my next trip to Peru and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Lima and looking for a Paracas or Huacachina day trip.

Unique experience - I got to try sandboarding and it was one of the best experiences I've ever had. I liked that there weren’t too many people (they seem to control it very well). You can tell that the company really cares about the tourist and for this I give you the 5 stars. I'll be back!

Show!!! - Super punctual staff and the guide Mauris very helpful and attentive. Van new and well reduced group. Everything promised on the tour was fully fulfilled. Quite intense and exhausting because we left 5:30 am and arrived at 23:50 pm in the hotel, but it was planned and also due to the heat, but it is quite worth doing this tour with this team (Peru bucket list).

False Advertising - This trip was falsely advertised. It clearly says that admission to Huacachina Lagoon is included, and sand boarding is extra. My friend and I weren't interested in sand boarding, so we didn't pay for it. When we arrived to the area outside of Huacachina Lagoon, everyone got onto smaller cars, but our guide told us to go wait at the bar and they would be back in 45 minutes. This was about a 25 minute walk away from the oasis, outside of the sand dunes. When we expressed that we wanted to see the oasis, we just didn't want to do the sand boarding, they told us no. We even offered to pay the extra $10 and they still said no. We were forced to wait at a bar outside of the oasis when it clearly said the oasis was included. This was extremely disappointing, and I think we deserve at least a partial refund for this trip. Unfortunately I don't see anywhere on TripAdvisor where that's possible.

Very bad. - Don't go with this agency, you totally lousy Service. Then I found out they're not even registered, so be careful, I don't understand how they can allow you to promote these types of "agencies"

Bad experience - Both get your guide and arutismotours both charge more than normal operators. Better dont go with these people. Tour was more commercial they try to sell products. Tour guide try to talk bad about particular country. Worst experience.

If you want a short desert tour and a long restaurant tour, go ahead! - Unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience despite all my planning. The tour company arrived 20 minutes late at 4 a.m., then we waited another 20 minutes for someone still asleep in Miraflores. Paracas was okay, but in Huacachina the guide mostly spoke Spanish, translating only half into English, so we missed key points. He was rude about timing, saying he wouldn’t wait more than 15 minutes at stops, and lost track during sandboarding, leaving us last to slide. For lunch, they took us to an overpriced horse farm clearly aimed at overcharging tourists. The guide made us sit uncomfortably, the food was terrible, and the staff treated us like dollar signs. Overall, we felt disrespected. I would never recommend this expensive tour.
