Awesome Adrenaline Rush - This was a an incredible day - a highlight of our family trip! The zip line attendants were very helpful and made me feel very secure! The white water rapids were very strong and our guide, James, did everything possible to keep me safe. My 20- something adult children absolutely loved the class 3 rapids. Jacamar tours are extremely well run and thanks for an awesome experience!

Amazing and highly recommended! - Loved our trip . We started with the zip lines which were amazing with great views . After the zip line we got fruits and water bottle . After that , James , our guide took us for a one hour ride to water rafting . It was amazing and my 8 years old who did it first time loved it too . It was just our family of five in the boat and our guide James who was very professional and knowledgable and we felt very safe . After the tour we got local lunch which was tasty . We had transportation included from and to hotel . We also purchased photos from each activity to cherish the memories.

A must if you visit La Fortuna! - I was a little worried about the safety of ziplining and white water rafting, but so glad we did it! Absolutely loved Jacamar and it’s team. Everything we did through them was executed perfectly. It’s obvious that they place high emphasis on safety, professionalism, and customer service. You can tell that they have high quality standards for their team members. Their communication before, during, and even after the tour was always prompt and professional. We were able to communicate with them easily during our stay in LaFortuna using WhatsApp. We did 2 excursions with them including the Adrenaline Tour (ziplining + white water rafting class 2/3) and Top 4 Attractions Tour. The ziplining team at Arenal Canopy was so friendly and extremely professional. It was evident that they were serious about making it a safe and great experience for its guests. The Tarzan swing was terrifying but glad I did it! Our Jacamar tour guide for the white-water rafting component was Diego who was INCREDIBLE! Great communication all along the way and great rafting safety orientation! Diego taught us a lot about Costa Rica during the 1-hour bus ride to the white-water rafting location and all throughout our rafting experience. We had a group of about 16 people so when we got to the river, we broke up into 4 boats with 1 guide/boat. Diego was also our rafting guide. He was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING- LOVED HIM! Felt 110% safe with him. Perfect combination of exciting rapids, relaxing tranquil waters, and learning about the wildlife that surrounded us. We got to get out of the boat 3 times to swim in the water, jump off a small cliff (optional) and stopped halfway to enjoy refreshing fresh fruit. At the end of the trip we enjoyed a delicious fresh Costa Rican lunch. All of the guides were the NICEST guys ever! Loved every moment of this excursion. Thank you Jacamar & Diego!

This is a must in La Fortuna - We did the zipline and whitewater rafting trip. It was one of the best part of our trip. The zipline tour was so much fun! the views of the rainforest were amazing and the tour guides were so kind and encouraging. The whitewater rafting tour was exhilarating! It was fun and exciting. Our guide was very knowledgeable and made us feel comfortable the entire time. Definitely recommend this tour and this company!!

Great full day adventure! - Do this trip! It’s a long day but so worth it! the zip lining is exhilarating and peaceful at the same time. White water rafting was an intense challenge but so glad we did it. They even had beers for us on the bus on the way to lunch. Our lunch after was delicioso in a local farm to table restaurant. Our guides throughout the day were extremely knowledgeable. Amazing and professional guides set this tour group Apart. One other point they accommodate well. I am a big guy at 5,10 and weigh 295lbs. I was worried the harness or life jacket would not fit, but they fit well and I never felt unsafe. Great family trip! Pura Vida!

The best experience for active people!! - The zip-lining was so fun!! And the rafting was so good and for my first time rafting I will definitely recommend it to others and especially if you get Jason as your tour guide!!

Luxury adrenaline tours - We had such a blast. We had got a private zip lining tour (even though we didn’t request one) and the two guides were great. It even includes a Tarzan swing! We spotted animals along the way too. The rafting was also incredible. It’s class 3 rapids right off the bat and our guide was great at directing us. There’s two assistants on kayaks following us for safety. It’s so nice to have just one raft in a group instead of the 3-10 rafts in a group that we saw. Both tours gave you fresh watermelon and pineapple as a snack. They also both had professional photographers taking photos and videos of you which you could buy (and split with others) for $30. You get all the photos they took edited and sent to your email the same day!

Knowledgeable and exciting adventure tour agency, high quality guides! - We booked a few diff excursions, and spent multiple days with Jacamar Tours for our Costa Rica trip. We traveled with a very large age group and diff physical abilities, from age 8 to age 75. The agent I worked with was very nice and helpful in advising me which activities may be a struggle and examples of what she felt was "difficult vs. manageable for my mom and youngest son. We signed up for Xtreme rafting and ATV, Arenal canopy adventure - zip lining, and Hiking Lover's at La Fortuna Waterfall, Rio Celeste and Tenorio Volcano hike. Each day we had diff tour guides that were skilled and knowledgeable for each activity. We were especially impressed with the guide we had for our Hiking Lover's tour, he told us about the history of the plants and ground, the volcano's last eruption, found snakes, exotic birds and sloth's for us to see while driving us to our next destination. Even our bus driver stopped and took out a long distance lenses for everyone to peak at the exotic birds and spider monkey's. The guides always gave us water breaks and made sure we had scenic breaks if he saw the kids were tired. Since we had a large group, we had a dedicated tour bus each day well as guides. We were not rushed around and when we asked to make stops to lunch, they were always very accommodating. Prices were quoted, and payments made easy with wire transfers. I used them to bring us back and forth to the airport s well, I felt safe and comfortable with Jacamar tours.
