Beautiful tour - Great tour with such beautiful scenery. Got to see parts of the national park and a great view of Arenal volcano.Highly recommended!

Very good & Prompt Response/ Updates - We worked with Erick in Dec 2023 for family of 4. We gave Erick our day by day tour preferences for 10 days and Erick organized all tours and included hot springs/ sunset tour for days when we are free. We changed tours by a day or two after we are in CR and was accommodated as requested. Erick was prompt and tracked all tours to our satisfaction. Highly recommend for a pleasant and wonderful experience

Perfect morning excursion - We had a great experience taking the boat tour. The views were beautiful and it was interesting learning about the dam and how it produces a significant amount of the country's electricity. Our captain was very nice and took pictures of us so that we could all be in the same photo. He also pointed out the animals and told us about the fish and the birds.

Serenity. - Our guide Kristel Rojas of Swiss Travel was excellent. Her knowledge and enthusiasm was first class. Spotted a myriad of birds including two Osprey. Beautiful views of the volcano, peaceful tranquil lake and a really pleasurable trip.

Great experience - Our trip was held in the rain which was a bummer, But the trip itself was awesome!! We did a tour of the lake and were concerned with rain and clouds thar we'd be unable to get a volcano view. The clouds did lift and we caught some awesome shots. In total our experience lasted 4 hours during which time we were also able to eat dinner and have a cocktail! The service was great and I would definitely use them again!

Arenal Lake Boat Tour - This is a very peaceful boat tour. The staff included a driver, assistant and tour guide. All were very pleasant and kind. The tour guide was sweet and very informative. Her English skills are very good. At the apex of the tour, the boat is stopped at a shoreline and fruit is presented to all. We went near sunset and so the sites were even more sweet. This is a real "chilled" tour to enjoy.

Terrible - WARNING FISHING TOURISTS I'm honestly not one for negative reviews but this was beyond a joke & all I hope to do is save people their time, effort & money in dealing with this guy... We booked a fishing trip on Lake Arenal via Volcano Lake Adventures Costa Rica. From the moment we arrived in La Fortuna we were asked to pay for the tour/asked where we were staying so he could swing by and pick up the cash. We couldn't meet him as we had another tour booked & felt more comfortable paying on the day. He back peddled and agreed we could pay on the day after said we would prefer it. When we arrived at the docking area we had to search for the boat and ask multiple people where to go/who he was as there was zero direction on where to go. The guy who we booked the tour with was not there. We had been communicating in english through the whole booking process but our skipper could only speak a few words of English and laughed when we told him we couldn't speak much Spanish. There were no introductions or instructions... Just my wife and I plus the skipper on a barge headed out on the lake as snail speed. The booking was for 4 hours. After 45 min we arrived at our first fishing spot. Which was literally amongst the reeds. I was given a rod & could not believe what I was given. The reel itself had what looked to be less that 15 metres of line on it. All the lures were missing hooks and not suitable for the rod. There were no sinkers and the line barely cast further than 2 meters. I have been fishing for over 20 years and done tours all over the world. Never in my life have I ever experienced anything like this. We ended the tour after a few attempts at casting realizing this is not worth the time. We asked the skipper to take us back to the dock. Miraculously we arrived in 25 minutes, going against the wind. This company owns the one of the Costa Rican Travel Tips groups so I will never be allowed to post in there. I will attach images and the beautiful voice recording I was left. The owner of the company got rude and aggressive, demanding full payment. He left mind blowingly rude and unprofessional voice msgs, then blocked me on whatsapp and all social media, before we could resolve anything. Please be careful out there when booking. Ideally when we book things, we would prefer to book direct so that the faciliator ends up with more cash in their pocket yet this kind of situation makes me want to only book through a third party, moving forward. No doubt he will say he doesn't know who we are but here is the proof. In whattsap.
