Beautiful hike! - It was a wonderful hike, starting from a lagoon and a "lake house" up to the top of one of the hills that compose the volcano. We saw many birds, specially families of toucans, and critters along the way. The fog sets in and you walk through the mist, within the jungle, it is a surreal experience. Be aware that this is a private region of the volcano, not the formal national park (which is run by government and you cannot buy tickets in advance).

Nice views from the end of the trail - We enjoyed a day hike around the volcano area on the well maintained paths. The view from the trail was perfect. The path largely level - I’d rate it as “easy”. No facilities from the parking lot so bring your water with you.

Nice hike - This was a medium hike up a particular side of the volcano. It started off at the lake campsite. It was not in the main national park, but the walk was still nice and ended up on the lower part of the volcano. Great views once you get to end of the hike.
