A great experience to see animals at night - We were able to see many types of frogs, monkeys, plants, and a couple snakes. The guides were very knowledgeable and had a keen eye for spotting animals during the night for us to see.

Costa Rican Night Tour - This was an awsome experience! My husband and son (5) went with me we saw lots of frogs, snakes, birds, ants, toads and spiders. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. The most memorable part of this walk was when the tour guide had us all turn the flashlights off mid walk. Pitch black like nothing I've ever experienced.

Great nighttime activity - Kai was amazing at helping us find the smallest of critters during the walk. Our small group included 4 people who spoke 2 different languages, and Kai succeeded in including us all in the experience.

Great introductory experience - We went on our first day in La Fortuna and it was a great introductory experience in the rainforest! Our tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. The tour provides flashlights because it was an evening hike and we saw mainly insects, frogs/toads. Would recommend to wear bug spray - will help with mosquitos/bugs at night time.

Disingenuous and dangerous night tour - Terrible experience with the "night tour". The flashlight provided simply did not work. I spent two hours with my phone flashlight in my hand staring at the floor as to not trip instead of getting to enjoy trying to spot anything in the jungle. Furthermore, the group size is too large for such a narrow space. If you're in the back, you will not hear or see much. They split a ton of people into separate groups. My group was assigned to the "spider trail" and lo and behold, we saw many spiders. When you do see frogs, it's at the very end which is actually the very beginning. They have man made ponds where everyone is excited to finally see the frogs. It felt very disingenuous. Honestly, I would have much rather paid to simply go to their man made pond and enjoy some frogs.
