The journey kicks off at the private farm, La Naciente, just a short distance from downtown La Fortuna. The adventure begins with a trek on muddy paths through the primary rainforest. Participants receive a safety briefing and practice on a circuit to get accustomed to the ATVs. The excursion then continues onto the thrilling trails of La Naciente, navigating through challenging routes surrounded by lush greenery and local wildlife. A stop is made at Quebrada Platanillo, a micro-basin of the Arenal River, known for its water supply and the impressive Watusi bulls, recognized for their unique horns.

The next destination is the charming village of La Guaria, which preserves the “fortuneños” culture. Here, visitors explore the church and the traditional local store (pulpería). The journey proceeds along open trails, crossing natural puddles, until reaching the Arenal River, where there is an opportunity to take photos and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

On the return trip, a stop is made at Rancho La Poza for a snack and some relaxation in its outdoor pool.
