- Museo del Lago Gutierrez - Traverse the Pampo de Huenuleo and follow the gentle streams of Melgarejo and Pilmayen until reaching Lake Gutierrez. There will be a stop to capture photos and relax at a lodge and private beach on the shores of this pristine lake.
- Lago Mascardi Viewpoint - This horseshoe-shaped lake is also known as Lago de los Siete Colores, or “Lake of the Seven Colors.”
- Cerro Tronador - Continue the journey by coach to Cerro Tronador, the highest mountain in the Lake District, standing at 11,500 feet (3,500 meters). It is home to seven glaciers and is named for the thunderous sound of ice chunks falling from the glaciers. Guests can view Cerro Tronador’s three peaks — Pico Chileno, Pico Argentino, and Pico Internacional — and take a short guided walk into the woods to see the glaciers.
- Ventisquero Negro - Reboard the coach to continue along Mascardi Lake and cross the popular white-water rafting site, the Manso River. There will be a stop in Pampa Linda, beneath Cerro Tronador, for lunch (at guests’ own expense). The coach journey continues through a forest of native lenga and coihue trees in the Vuriloches Valley, leading to the Ventisquero Negro (Black Snowdrift) glacier.
