Just Awesome - We arrived early to avoid the tourist buses and crowds. The area has fine viewing points with sensitive spots rightly fenced off. The glacier itself is impressive with a small lake at its base with calved icebergs floating in it. The birdlife seems unafraid of people which is perfect. I loved taking time out watching a pair of Patagonian Finches

Thunderer. A spectacular story - It is an impressive walk. Since we left Bariloche. The entire trip the views are beautiful. The thunderer is something incredible. The guide explained to us how the glaciers work. And it seems that time stops there. Just thinking that there is permanent ice from many ice ages. We saw a piece of the snowdrift break off and fall onto the lagoon. Then we went to the lack of the mountain. The story of the thunderer is very exciting. We went up the slopes a little and I was so excited to see wild strawberries that only grow in the cold. It reminded me of my mother's town in Italy. Recommendations: bring cash. Everything consumed there is in cash. You have to pay entry to the park, bathrooms and food. Everything is effective

Tronador - The guide's English was not perfect but he did his utmost to explain both in English and Spanish what we were seeing. Beautiful views, great guide!!!

Book directly in Bariloche, never by these means - The excursion is good but if you are Argentinian do not take it this way They charge it in dollars, the reference in pesos is false. I did it on Tuesday the 12th, in Bariloche it costs 19950x person, my card received 115 us x 2 people, that is 57.5 us per person x 820 the dollar, 45000 x person plus country tax and I am Argentine It's a trap and scam

Too beautiful to miss? - True to previous reviews, this a long day on a bus. But still - worth the trip. We had changeable weather but overall nice. Beautiful scenery!! More time off the bus would be nice. We reserved an English tour. Most of the clients were Spanish-speaking (as was someone in our party). About 20% of the tour was translated and the other clients talked throughout the English parts so it was impossible to hear. Very rude and disappointing. (Sit up front - maybe?). I read about Tronador on-line after the tour and there was just so much to learn - but not from our guide. Still you should not miss the experience because it is particularly unique. Food situation was confusing - but inexpensive and good. Bathroom situation was limited.

Lack of attention - We don't like it, although the tour is legal the agency is not even a little professional, so I suggest you do this tour with another agency. We were not informed that it was the purchase of ticket on site and that the amount of 15,000 pesos (per ticket) would have to be only in cash or VISA card. Also not warned that restaurants only accept cash in cash or VISA debit. Luckily we had the cards.

A disappointing day… - The trip was cancelled due to a forest fire, how disappointing! The driver did take us to another National Park, but it wasn’t what we were expecting.
