These trips are an excellent way to experience Patagonia wilderness. The driving distance is about 45min.
The usual itinerary is that we pick-up our guests from their hotel round 8.30am, our boats are launched followed by intense fishing until noon. Pending on location, the brake during the midday may vary, but if the bite is hot we of course fish as hard as the guest requires. A full lunch, beverages and some excellent Argentine Malbec wines is done on shady spot along the shore. Our trips vary from 8 to10 hours of fishing time, including transportation. However if the bite is on, we will fish longer at our guests request, without an extra charge. We can handle individuals up to groups of 8. Our team is serious fishermen, taking no greater pleasure then to maximize the fishing experience of our guests!
The extraordinary fishing locations. Outfitters Patagonia is based in San Carlos de Bariloche which is located in the middle of the Nahuel Huapi National Park. We operate on perhaps one of the broadest selections of premier trout fisheries in the Patagonia Argentina! Wild rainbows, browns and brookies, all reside within the incredible river systems of National Parks and legendary rivers.

A Wonderful Multi-Day Fishing Experience - Flying down from the States, we were lucky enough to spend six days fishing with Outfitters Patagonia.
Starting nearly a year out, the planning and communication from owner Martin was fantastic. Half-day, full-day and overnight trips were offered and each possible type of trip and body of water was explained in detail, allowing us to select what we wanted to do.
We chose to do a three-day overnight trip and three day-trips to different rivers and lakes. Martin coordinated our pickup from the airport and assisted us with hotel options while staying in Bariloche. After exploring town for two days, we were picked up at 8am by our guide, Juan, in front of the hotel.
We spent the next three days and two nights on the Collon Cura river, two hours north of Bariloche. The camp crew (Renzo and Gus) went out of their way to make each night camping wonderful. They made and brought drinks, made hot breakfast and dinner, and truly acted like part of the group, on top of rowing downstream ahead of us to setup the next camp. Breakfast was at 8am each morning and dinner was around 8pm. Each pair of fishermen share a very large six-person tent with cots and blow-up sleeping pads, small pillow included.
While on the water, Juan was fantastic. We threw streamers and dry flies the entire week. We hooked into a large amount of fish with a great average size (including some monsters) each day. Juan prepared lunch and snacks around 1pm each day, a meal that would put guides in the United States to shame. Meals ranged from charcuterie and sandwiches to steaks and chicken. The food was very memorable. On top of the great fishing guide work, Juan was an excellent tour guide on the drives to each location. As anyone who has fished on guided trips before, the trip is made depending on the ability of the guide…Juan is something special.
Between the communication, great meals, fun camping, amazing day trips to stunning landscapes, and great people, I would not hesitate to fly the long way to fish with Outdoors Patagonia again.

Top quality Guiding with Outfitters Patagonia - This was my fourth trip with Outfitters Patagonia and again it was a great success. I arrived with high expectations, having had three previous trips with excellent guiding, good hospitality and amazing fishing. When I say amazing fishing, I mean that on each of these trips (typically 5 days each trip) I took between 50 and 85 (maximum) trout, with a mixture of rainbows (mostly) and browns. My biggest fish have come from the Limay river, up to 6 &1/2 pounds with a few more in the 4 to 6 pound range, the most prolific fishing has been on the Manso river (typically smaller fish but very strong fish). Having fished a lot in various counties i know that the guide and the outfitter company make up at least half of your success and I have no hesitation in recommending Outfitters Patagonia. Their back office admin is very efficient, the kit supplied is always top quality (Orvis) and the guides work hard for you, never hesitating to change a fly if things ho quiet and rowing almost all day against the fast current in these two rivers.
What a great experience; i give them 10/10!

Great day on Rio Limay - Top notch guide service in San Carlos de Bariloche. Everything was incredible. Martin the owner was great. Excellent communication and very easy to work with. We did a full day float trip on Rio Limay and it did not disappoint. Our guide, Renzo, worked his butt off rowing in high water to put us on fish. I have been guiding in the United States for 10+ years and would recommend their services to anyone! Muchas gracias!

Fishing and friends for life in Argentina! - These guys are the best!!! Just came off a two night camp-fish trip in the Caleufu which is an experience of a lifetime. The scenery, the fishing and people are amazing. These guides take care of your every every need. They are so service oriented, want nothing other than for you to have a great experience short of putting a giant trout on your hook (that’s illegal - LOL). We learned about the region, the people, how to improve our fishing and build bonds with others. I cannot give a higher endorsement to Martin and German for their efforts to give us a 5 star experience!!

Great outfitter, great guide. Highly recommend and can’t wait to go out with them again. - My friend and I fished two days with Germán the second week of November. We’ve both fished with many guides in many places around the world and agreed that he was an excellent guide and good company for a couple of days on the water.
The spring flood had the rivers running fast and high but Germán worked hard and found fish. He was also an excellent cook and our two riverside lunches were outstanding.
Long before we got to Argentina, Martin at Outfitters Patagonia was very responsive and helpful and made sure that we were all set. He communicated everything clearly, accurately , and timely. Everything worked and happened the way it was planned.
All in all it was a great two days. My only regret is that we had to leave instead of fishing a couple more days.

Floating the Rio Collon Cura - We did a 3 day float on the Rio Collon Cura with Outfitters Patagonia. German, Juan, Lucas, Reno, and Naheul were amazing guides and camp organizer/chefs! The fishing was fantastic and the scenery was spectacular. The men mentioned above made this trip extremely memorable and they were nothing but gracious, patient, knowledgeable, hosts/guides. We had a blast and already talking about when to return.

AMAZING EXPERIENCE - Amazing time!!!! My husband and I went fishing with German in October. Every detail was so well thought out. From picking us up from our hotel to boating us around, teaching us everything we needed to know, a fabulous sit down lunch, and just wonderful conversation. I won’t forget this experience. If you are thinking about doing it DO IT. You are in a beautiful place with wonderful company.

Full Day Fly Fishing Adventure in Patagonia - Beyond impressed with Outfitters Patagonia! Their fly-fishing trips in Bariloche are world-class.
The guides were incredibly patient and helpful, and we are beginners and caught several wild trout’s, more than thought possible. The scenery is simply stunning, and the overall experience was top-notch. If you´re looking for an authentic Patagonian fly fishing adventure, this is the company to book with.

Epic Fly Fishing Day Trip in Bariloche - Last April we had the most amazing fly fishing trip of my life with Outfitters Patagonia in
Bariloche. The guide were expert, and the equipment was top-notch. We caught many Brown
Trout including a trophy of 8lbs. The food was delicious, and had a blast exploring the stunning
