Exploring the hills around San Cristobal - Mauricio and Zoila were incredible leaders taking us on a circle route to and from San Cristobal. They were very considerate of our biking limitations and they set a pace that made us feel so comfortable. Riding mountain bikes we climbed some intense uphills, sailed downhill, stopped at miradors and a former mill, walked around a centuries old church, and walked up and through a cave system with stalactites and stalagmites. We were thrilled by our adventure.

Great experience ! - Great cycling trip with Luis as our guide. He told us about the sites in English and Spanish. Very pretty tour through the country side outside of San Cristobal, with stops at 2 parks and an old church. Mixture of dirt road and paved road and just a little bit of single track. To me it was a fairly easy trip but we had some folks on the trip who didn't bike much and struggled on the hills ( up and down) . Overall, a great experience!

Good tour in the amazing countryside - Very good tour - but also challenging. Recommended to be in good shape. Many good stops: Two caves, old Church, slides, and single-track downhill tour for the more adventurous (and to track for the less adventurous).

Amazing trip - Really amazing trip. We had a great time with Luis. The route is tough but still doable for all levels. The trip includes intrance for several places (caves & and a church) which is really nice. Really recommend it!

Great Experience! - This was an incredible day of riding!! You do need a good level of fitness as the first hour is all uphill. Luis the guide was really kind and supportive and let me take regular breaks. He is really knowledgeable and the visits to the old church and the caves were really enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this trip!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - Amazing experience! Highly recommend this bike tour. I did not expect all the different terrain that we covered, but that’s what made the ride that much better.

Great cycle out of the town and into nature - I had a brilliant time doing this route with Josué Ruiz. Some of the hills are tough but doable. Josué allows for plenty of breaks so if you are struggling don’t worry he will allow time for recovery 😀! Josué is also very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. I would highly recommend!

Mountain biking trip San Cristobal - This was a great trip - Josue is a knowledgeable guide both about the area and the sights. The caves were interesting and the country church a great example of how the Mayans are leveraging the churches the Catholics built for them. Most of all I loved the landscape which is very lush and the tour took advantage of some amazing vistas. I would be remiss if I didn’t mention that this is a challenging ride at altitude - neither Peloton nor SoulCycle can really prepare you for going uphill for 5 km. Josue gave me an opportunity to catch my breath when necessary and the ride back down was of course thrilling

Spectacular, but tough! - I really enjoyed this experience. The sites are truly beautiful and unique; I came away feeling very happy to have accomplished it. However, it is unbelievably tough! I am super fit, although not used to cycling and found many parts very hard. It was worth it and Luis was extremely patient with me, but I would prepare for a big challenge if you are not an experienced mountain cyclist.

All uphill, apathetic guide - We had a very bad experience. The whole thing is uphill and our tour guide, Luis, rode 100 meters ahead of us never bothering to stop or look back. We are two fit adults but still needed to stop multiple times. Despite being the ONLY ones on the tour, it would take him 15-20 minutes to even realize we weren’t with him. We were expecting multiple stops with little explanations of the area, history, etc. We speak a little broken Spanish but we were barely even able to receive answers to basic things like “how much further?” In the end we were so frustrated that he kept leaving us behind without any stops that we turned around and went back. In that first hour of biking before we turned back, there was no pretty scenery and some of it was on a highway. I do not recommend this tour unless you are a professional mountain biker and just want a really expensive workout.
