With more than 150 bars and restaurants and 94 registered historic buildings, this nightlife playground has a lot to see and do, as well as a fascinating past.
The Brothels, Bites and Booze tour will introduce you to the beginnings of San Diego as a port town
- learn why it became one of the more notorious red light districts of its time, and find out how this once-undesired neighborhood became a fun and vibrant nightlife destination for both locals and visitors.

Amazing guide and food! - K-dog was an amazing guide! She told great stories and really knew the history of the area. Food and drink were also amazing!

Great was to see the Gaslamp Quarter - When travelling solo I love to spend my first day in a new city on a walking tour. The Gaslamp Quarter Tour was a great way to learn about San Diego and try some great foods on the way. We had a small group that made the tour very intimate, our guide was very open, knowledgeable and engaging. The food was great, the history was interesting and the option to buy more drinks along the way was appreciated.

Cheers!!! We enjoyed immensely!! - This was wonderful! Traveling with my young adult kids!!! Magda did a great job guiding and with stories. Each restaurant was delicious… perfect amount of food and drink… The walking tour was excellent!!! The only negative was parking. The information you send should encourage drive apps or give places to park and prices for them

Unexpectedly Delightful Experience - This tour far exceeded my expectations! Aparna was very knowledgeable and friendly! I sure did learn a lot of fascinating history and facts about the Gaslamp Quarter. It’s also worth mentioning how impressive, fascinating and humbling Aparna’s personal life. I am in awe of her accomplishments! She definitely is a great asset to your company!

Fun With Facts, Food and Friends - This tour was excellent! Great food, information and company. We learned a lot and had fun. Our tour guide (sorry, I forget her name but she grew up in Palm Springs) was friendly, fun and made a genuine attempt to include everyone and share interesting information. Book it!

Highlight of our San Diego trip! - We had a blast with Kaylee! We’ve been to the Gaslamp Quarter many times, so we decided to do something a little different! We booked a Walking Food & Drink Tour & had such a good time! Kaylee was fun, energetic, & had lots of juicy facts & stories. We ate at places we might have missed on our own. And of course the people we met on the tour made it even better! We would wholeheartedly recommend!!

Good times in Gaslamp! - Very good time! Our guide, Scott, was fantastic and the choice of food and drinks was top notch. Ended up going back to several of them later. Couldn't have been happier with our experience!

Not that great. Take an audio tour instead. - Gaslamp Quarter Tour was just OK. Nothing spectacular. There was a Padre's game on at the same time, so there was no place to park and the Quarter was packed full of people as soon as the game was over.
