Highlights
  • Gaslamp Museum at the Davis-Horton House - You will enter the house that the San Diego Ghost Hunters, tell us is currently the “most active”, location in SD. Even more active then the more famous ones. Entry is included!

This is the house where people would come to die as it was a hospital of sorts with a dramatic history. Our guests have experienced being pushed around the house with a hand on their back when there is no one behind them and catching mysterious shapes on camera, lots of orbs here as well. Bring your camera! While we can’t employ ghost or guarantee something will happen, things can and will occur we just don’t know when.

  • Villa Montezuma Museum - You will go on the premise of the Villa, a museum that is closed at night. But don’t be fooled, if you read our reviews, this location is one of many people’s top, our presentation there is very well received and plus lots of eerie things have been captured by our guest lens.

You will see this location, which is haunted by 2 people who once lived there. Strangely enough, they say, it is the first person to live in the house and the last to live in the Villa Montezuma. Perhaps you will hear music from beyond or see a haunted artifact move.

  • Whaley House Museum - You will go on the premises of the Whaley House. Find out how it all began with Yankee Jim and it’s other doomed occupants. Get the, for lack of a better word, “Greatest Hits” tales at this location.
  • El Campo Santo Cemetery - What is a haunted tour without a graveyard? You will enter this location and be told the stories among the tombstones.

Back to where it all began. Old Town San Diego, El Campo Santo Cemetery has a long history of the macabre. Ghosts there are disturbed as their burial grounds have been disturbed many times. Strange figures still appear seemingly to glow and float above the ground.

  • Our Haunted Guided Tour are smaller than our competitors. Plus you actually enter mutliple locations on our tours! As such we require at least 8 people/ghost hunter in our to run. If for some reason it looks like the tour will not go (this is rare but does occasionally happen), we will personally call you with a tour update 2-3 hours before your tour is set to go. If your tour does not go, again very rare, we will refund you or move you to another date. Feel free to call (619.255.6170) us or email us with any questions or if you just want an update on how many have signed up so far. If we don’t pick up immediately we will get back to you shortly.

  • Service animals are allowed provided they are small, can be carried in their crate and do not disturb the other attendees. Fantastic and Informative - Our tour guide, Dante, was fantastic! He was incredibly knowledgeable. We were able to not only visit a few amazing, historical haunted places, but we were able to go inside some of them and even take photos. I would definitely do this again!

Incredibly Fun! - A ghost tour was the #1 vacation request by my 7 year old son. We opted for the bus tour with Haunted San Diego and it did not disappoint! Al was a fantastic guide and really charismatic- knowledgeable with the right amount of camp. It was spooky without being too much. I do think it may be a lot if you have a child who scares easily though. Our tour had access to so many amazing locations. Having the docent guide us at the Villa Montezuma alone made the tour worth it. The music room was stunning and incredible. The creepiest stop was the Davis-Horton House. It definitely gave off spooky vibes. Someone on our tour caught some pretty cool stuff on video. My kiddo caught something interesting on one of his live photos. It probably isn’t anything, but it definitely added to his excitement and experience. We spent four days in San Diego. We did a lot of things. By the end of our trip we ranked our activities as follows: 1. Haunted San Diego Bus Tour 2. Pedicab Rides 3. USS Midway 4. Maritime Museum Bay Tour 5. San Diego Zoo 6. Padres Game

A great adventure - We had a wonderful time. Cowboy Pete was a wonderful story teller . The places we went gave us new places to explore on our next adventure. I have ADHD and I was engaged the whole time. What a wonderful experience. Five stars.

Great time on the ghost tour - haunted stories and locations - Fairly certain we took this tour YEARS ago & it has always been one of the top two ghost tours we have taken (and we’ve taken a lot). Went again tonight and it was a just as great! Not your typical bus tour where you drive around - this was an on & off where you went into some of the locations to hear the stories. Sure Cowboy Pete was cheesy (his words) at times but he was also fun, knowledgeable about the history of the locations, and a storyteller — the best type of tour host!

San Diego Ghost Tour was AMAZING!! - Al was our tour guide last and it was an absolute blast. My wife and I don't get many date nights with everything else going on life, so this being as awesome as it was... was a big deal for us. It was fun, interesting amd we even got a couple of interesting pics. I highly recommend it for anyone the slightest bit adventurous.

Wasn’t a ghost tour and as for haunted…? - Sadly we weren’t impressed with the tour. We thought we’d go in more places especially the Whaley house but we stood outside and listened to a story for 5 mins. We think the bus got lost going to the 2nd site. Then went in to hear a story and left. 5 mins in the next “haunted” house then the cemetery. Not worth the money but that’s just our opinion. Need a sign where to meet. We had to call and ask exactly where.
