Good times - Had a really good time. Weather cooperating would've made it even better, but that can't be helped. Kyle, our guide, was great. Check in was smooth, reasonably well organized. Equipment was in pretty good shape for loaner/rental gear. Couldn't get a good seal with my mask but that's probably d/t my beard, so no fault of theirs. Managed to see a horn shark despite the mediocre visibility in the water. (This isn't the carribean). Speaking of which, they ask if you want a wet suit. There is one correct answer, YES! That water is COLD. Still, once you get used to it (or numb) it was a good time. Kayaks were in good shape.

Highly recommended from a local. - On my daughter’s first day back to school we decided to do something ‘touristy’. What a phenomenal decision that was. We were the only two booked so it ended up essentially being a private tour and it was amazing. Beth took great care of us, explained in detail the protected area and it’s different makeups. Then we got to the real fun. Garibaldi, spiny lobsters, and sea lions swimming with us. It was a great day of snorkeling and kayaking and the consensus was that this may be a first day of school tradition. Beth was awesome, facilitates and equipment were great. Highly recommend whether you’re visiting or just looking for a great date activity.

Would recommend. - The Kayak tour was excellent. Elizabeth and the team did a great job looking after us and were full of interesting facts along the way, as well as getting us out and back in from the water. They were very patient with my nervous wife! The tour itself is definitely worth doing - it’s nice to get out on the water and see the rugged coast from the water as well as the wildlife.

Amazing Experience - Despite the chilly wind, our family had a blast. The tour guides, Anthony and a girl thought her name was Stella but now I’m not Too sure, were amazing! We had a 5 and 8 year old and they were very encouraging and interactive with them. They were both very knowledgeable and made sure that everyone was comfortable and having a good time. Don’t need experience but depending on wind, it may make paddling more challenging. Our kids enjoyed snorkeling for their first times, even though the water was cold. Might recommend wearing a wet suit to stay a little warmer. Would absolutely recommend touring with Bike and Kayak!

Great experience! - What an amazing experience! Our tour guides Bethany and Angie were knowledgeable and very experienced. We loved snorkeling in the caves and swimming near the sea lions. Just be sure to arrive at least 30 minutes early to find a parking spot. Thank you for the memories and unforgettable experience!

Matthew helped the old people - My husband and I are 65 and 71. We have both snorkeled before, but had not kayaked. The snorkeling was only ok because the water was rather dark. The kayaking was difficult because neither of us is in as good shape as we should be. We both had trouble getting back into the kayaks, but our tour guide, Matthew was wonderful. He was so patient and helped us get back in. He was also quite informative about the wildlife and the area. If it weren't for Matthew, we would have had a terrible time. We're both glad we went on the tour.

Enjoyed the trip but felt that more advanced advice could have been given - We enjoyed the trip, but felt that a better job could have been done prepping folks for their adventures. For example, two of the people on our trip got sea sick, and the ocean was much colder than the wetsuits accounted for. I strongly recommend going on a sunny day and taking some gravol beforehand if you're at risk of motion sickness. Overall, our guide was nice, the trip was fun, the conditions were not in our favour! There aren't nearly enough change rooms at the facility for all the groups, so expect to spend more time waiting than actually changing.

Pull your own weight and dont have snorkel expectations - not the snorkel experience we expected. small group of us all tandem kayaks but most of the others lacked coordination or upper body strength and had to get pulled by our guide. they could not get back into the kayak and we spent our final 45 minutes getting them into the kayak rather than going more cave exploring or getting our money worth. i suggest a small step ladder for those who cannot pull their weight and take the burden off the guide who has to get creative on the fly.

Touristy to the max - The water and area was beautiful. No waves which was good. Too many other groups/companies going out at once. Too competitive. Needed to teach basic snorkeling tips. They did it for kayaking. I was good but newbies did not know how to clear their snorkel etx. Their changing area and rest rooms were dirty and messy. . It was too much ppl changing and grabbing their stuff at once coming from the ocean. One lacked soap. Understaffed in the store area. They are just trying to keep up. Our tour guides were lovely and helpful. This is not on them.

Definitely 2 Stars - Erin, our guide, was great and we saw a shark and they was cool. The rest of it was kind of lame and disorganized. One of us got a sand filled wetsuit and the trip started 30 minutes late because the beach crew didn’t show up and when Erin radioed them no one answered so she had to run back to the shop to get someone. Oh, and there wasn’t really much sea life to look at, which I blame on the sea.
