No Snorkel Experience Required: Learn how to snorkel under the guidance of our expert staff. You’ll be fitted with a wetsuit, fins, mask, and snorkel, and your certified guide will teach you the basics on dry land before you dip into the water. All participants must be able to swim without the assistance of a personal floatation device.

Fantastic Experience!! - My daughter and I had an amazing time! We are San Diego locals and I can’t believe we hadn’t done this before! Our guide was so sweet. She walked us down the beach to the perfect spot. We had so many leopard sharks right at our feet!! Here are a couple of tips: 1) Be sure to arrive 30-45 minutes before your tour time. This will give you time to get suited up in your wetsuit and fins. 2) They sell waterproof pouches for your phone for about $20 and they work great for those underwater shots!

A Great Experience - It was an awesome experience. The weather was perfect, there was hardly any other people there, and everything was smooth. Our guide, Elise, was so friendly and helpful. She called us over whenever she spotted something. She worked well with my wife, who was very nervous about the water. We saw sharks, a sea turtle, rays, a guitarfish, and a bunch of other fish. There's a great area to explore. And the ability to stay after the tour and keep using the equipment was a nice bonus!

Good experience - Although we didn’t find or see any leopard sharks, we really had fun. My 10 year year-old were nervous about this event so that is why we didn’t really try to go for then expected into the water. Our tour guide were very nice and accommodating.

Not great. - Got there 3 minutes late due to lack of parking space. Group with teacher left without us and the company gave very little direction. The gear provided was cheap. Not worth the money for the quality of service provided.

Not worth it - Very bad experience. We were a group of four people who booked the leopard shark tour, as soon as we reached the beach our tour guide left us behind and we struggled to catch up with the group. We found it extremely difficult to swim in the water and were never given basic instructions that were promised on the website for snorkeling . It was just assumed that we all have expert level experience and would catch up with the group. We ended up not going into the water. It was a complete waste of our time and money. It is not beginner or moderate level friendly . Do not recommend to anyone . Very disappointed.

Just rent your own snorkel gear - We booked a snorkel tour and were asked to arrive early to pick up our gear and rent lockers. However, the staff were inattentive and took a long time to provide us with everything we needed, and made us late for the tour. They even gave us unnecessary equipment that was meant for another tour. Additionally, the 'tour' consisted of the guide walking us to a public beach and telling us to swim around until we spotted something on our own. It wasn’t worth the price—we could have just rented snorkel gear and gone on our own.

Very disappointed - I really wanted to love this experience but it was lacking and did not fit the description at all. For starters, it should not be called a “guided tour” . Me and my friends paid a lot of money to simply rent some gear and be ditched by our “guide”, Zac after 30 min because he was technically “off the clock” and they were “under staffed”. We paid for an hour. Furthermore he simply took us to some shallow water to snorkel while he sat on a surf board (and tried to catch waves when we weren’t looking). We saw 1 shark total and it was for less than 10 seconds. My group was extremely disappointed by the overall experience. The service felt misleading and disorganized. For the amount that I paid, I would have been better off bringing my own snorkel gear and reading up on the sharks. There was very little education or guidance provided at all. We politely placed our complaint in person and the manager never got back to us, which just further illustrates poor service.

Horrible - It is a “guided tour”. They just walked us out to the beach shore and told us where to go and where not to go. No further guidance was given. Could have done the same exact thing for cheaper by ourselves.

Do not use this tour company - Truly appalling. They were late starting by nearly an hour. Three of the kayaks were defective and damaged. We were in a group size in breach of life guard rules. Our tour guide had to be rescued by the life guards after a cave accident. The tour had to end early and there was no offer of refund or compensation. Do not book with this company
