- Presidio Park - We drive by historic Presidio Park and Junipero Museum, where the first mission in California once stood. And the Witches Tower.
- Old Town San Diego - Discover San Diego’s roots in Old Town, the birthplace of California. Go back in time as you walk through the historic area and some of its emblematic buildings including the haunted Whaley’s House. There is a ONE HOUR STOP here for lunch, to eat at one of the many Mexican restaurants.
- La Jolla Cove - One of the most popular attractions in San Diego. See the seals in their natural habitat. Breath the cool ocean air and explore beautiful La Jolla. There is a 45 minute stop here.
- Mt. Soledad National Veterans Memorial - Honor our fallen soldiers and see spectacular views of San Diego. 15 minute stop.

Led by a fun & knowledgeable guide, the 7 hour trip features a 3-hour scenic drive and 4 hours spent at various locations. Learn the history of San Diego between stops with live narration, music & video. See all of San Diego in just a few hours.
Pick up point is at Santa Fe Depot. We first make our way to the historic Gaslamp District & Little Italy. Then, down the Embarcadero to Chicano Park, over the Coronado Bridge & make the first 45 minute stop at the historic Hotel Del Coronado. Then make a 50 minute stop at beautiful Balboa Park. We then go to the birthplace of California, Old Town, for a ONE HOUR STOP for lunch to enjoy the many Mexican restaurants.
Next, go up the 5 Freeway to La Jolla Cove for another 45 minute stop, visit the Sea Lions. Mount Soledad is next 20 MINUTE STOP, see spectacular views of San Diego, before returning to the downtown pick up point.

Excellent Tour! - Thank you for an excellent tour! We learned a lot and really got a taste of San Diego. We now know where we want to return for additional time. Thank you for pointing out all the places where Top Gun was filmed!!!

Great overview tour of San Diego! - The driver and guide is very knowledgeable and professional! Learned a lot about the movies shot in San Diego and famous people from the city. The TV screen on the bus is a great idea. Will recommend to anyone who wants an overview of San Diego.

Best tour in town! - This is the tour to take. It hits every area of interest....a taste of what San Diego trulyis wrappedup in a day. George was great, full of historical knowledge of the city and kept our interest. I would definitely do the tour again with my whole family next time we visit.

The pick up... - The pick up instructions/reminders sent day before the tour was clear. The tour guide was on time. He is very informative and polite. My husband and I were very happy to see most of the famous points of interests that made San Diego a favorite vacation destination. We learned so much about the history of the city in just one day. I highly recommend this tour if you are in the area and looking for an all day activity!

Perfect sampler - We had a short 5 days in San Diego so I booked this tour to hit all the highlights in one day. It certainly did not disappoint. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the area and it was the perfect mix of sights.

San Diego Tour - Loved the knowledge of the tour guide!!! The history of Mr. Horton was very informative. When I return, would like to visit little Italy & eat downtown at Cafe Seville and Brigmans.

Many High Points and One Negative About This Tour - The content of the tour was excellent! We were given great information and saw so much of San Diego. The only negative was our tour guide..maybe he was having a bad day, as I see other reviews were positive. He didn’t arrive when he said he would, and there was no greeting or attempt to engage the group on a friendly basis. When one of us asked for a lunch suggestion, his response was “Google It!” Really?
To his credit he gave us excellent facts about his beautiful city and we learned a lot.

A nice 7-hr tour of San Diego - Enjoyed hitting some hot spots within San Diego with my husband for our anniversary. The most activity was occurring in Old Town, but the stop over was limited to 45 minutes and we didn’t get to do much except eat a quick lunch. The last tour wasn't my cup of tea or something that was of interest to the group as we were ready to get back on the bus as soon as we arrived. I would have rather stayed in Old Town longer and dropped this spot all together. Van was a bit too warm and for my taste and the tour guide/ driver never left his seat or asked to take photos of any of us.

The trip was cancelled with late notice - not happy - Be careful when booking this trip. We booked it and very given about 15 hours notice that it had been cancelled. We also tried to reschedule for a few days later, and fortunately we found out that it too was not going to happen. Perhaps not too many people are looking for a full day trip. The "Scenic Tour" trip is about a half day and pretty much hits the same highlights.
