Every boat has a two-way communication system installed, so you’ll be able to listen to your guide throughout the trip. This speed boat escapade is a wonderful opportunity to observe the stunning harbor of San Diego and get acquainted with its past while zipping across the water.

Fantastic experience you must do in San Diego - Fantastic experience, great way to see San Diego Harbour & sights.
Keegan our guide was great giving us information about what we were seeing in a fun & informative way.
All in All a great trip, highly recommended

Awesome experience! - We took the boat ride at 11 am on a Saturday. The awesome bandana-wearing captain was very funny. He described how to use the boats in a very informative way, while still keeping it light and funny. Even though the weather was a bit overcast, we still had an amazing time and the radios in the boat worked perfectly. The engine on our boat got vaught in some kale, but the captain helped us to get rid of it without any difficulties. The tour was very informative and, again, sprinkled with some comedy!
Definitely recommend this to anyone looking to get a unique view of the San Diego bay area! If we return to San Diego we would definitely do this tour again!

Fun and educational - Our leader, Captain K, was terrific. Very knowledgeable about San Diego as a city, military installations, animals. He was also a ton of fun. Made things feel very safe yet fun and adventurous. We would definitely do this again.

Unique and Fun Experience - Such a fun tour experience that is unlike most "regular" tours: being able to operate our own speedboat across the San Diego waters while having our tour guide David give us little tidbits of information along the way made it an unforgettable experience. The boats go a lot faster than they initially seem at first and it was so much fun! I will definitely be recommending this experience to anyone that wants a unique tour experience of San Diego.

Great way to see San Diego's Harbor - Really great little adventure if you're in San Diego Harbor area. Booking process was really easy, spoke with Tiffany on the phone, she was warm and friendly and detailed in the instructions on how to get there. She emailed and texted waivers over to me so we could have it done and out of the way prior to our arrival.
Parking was $17 so be mindful of that when booking. The office is located on the second floor but the meeting place is located downstairs next to the restrooms that are available for use before you head out.
Keegan was our guide, very funny from the very beginning. He was great at explaining the process and quickly but efficiently got us all through the rules and guidelines of operating the boats. There are one way speakers in each boat, this is how they are able to offer the guided tour with the history of all the gems that make up the harbor. Keegan was knowledgeable and his jokes kept us giggling and smiling the whole ride. Boats are very easy to operate and they do have some get up and go to them. Most of the tours is out of the no wake zone so you really get to rip it out on the water in between landmarks which is total fun!
We booked the 3pm slot and it was perfect. Tour time of 1½ is just right (2 hours total from start to finish) I like that they don't cut into your "boat time" with all the prep and allow time in between bookings to cover guidelines for each group.
We had a great time, got great pictures and really enjoyed how friendly both Tiffany and Keegan were through the whole process. Thanks San Diego Speedboats, I would highly recommend this activity to anyone looking for something different on the water.

Great time! - We could not have had more fun! Keegan was a fantastic guide. He told us lots of interesting information and made sure we had a fun, thrilling ride. We can't wait to do it again next time we visit SD!

So fun! Happy Day on the Bay! - I work on the bay & do not regret giving San Diego Speed Boat Tours a spin on my day off. Jeremy guided us safely to visit the Sea Lions & under the Midway Museum. Easy, fun & fast time! Totally recommend!

Best 2 hours on the bay and you're driving the boat. - Way better than expected! I have seen the boats for years and never thought they would be so fun! I race and sail the bay all year long but never had so much fun in a power boat!
