Kayak La Jolla and the 7 Caves! This 90 minute guided tour in La Jolla is a favorite of both locals and San Diego visitors. Explore beautiful sea cliffs and caves as you glide through the La Jolla Ecological Reserve filled with marine life. Paddle to Sunny Jim’s Cave, the Arch Cave, the Clams’ Cave and other sea caves for amazing close-ups of sandstone formations. Witness sea lions, garibaldi, leopard sharks, shovelnose guitarfish (rock on, man) and even the occasional dolphin on this sought-after La Jolla kayak tour. Ages 5 and up.

  • Age: Minimum 6
  • Arrival Time: 30 minutes before tour time
  • Attire: Swimsuit or athletic clothing that dries quickly. Guests will get wet at least from the waist down.
  • Ocean and safety conditions determine the tour route and entrance into the sea cave is not guaranteed
  • Lockers and wetsuits are available for rent upon arrival

Worthwhile kayak adventure - My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Entire staff were friendly and responsive. Our two guides were informative and added to the experience. We were fortunate to see three dolphins swim across our path and near the caves, a sea lion swam right under me. It was my first time on an ocean kayak and I am hooked. We had a wonderful time and thank you to everyone at Bike and Kayak Tours!

Fun Kayak trip - It was a fun trip to the kayak - ocean kayaking was a lot of fun and they organized the trip very well.. the guides were helpful and friendly. My only gripe was that it was a relatively large group of 11 kayaks which made the 2 guides job extremely hard to coordinate but they did their best
