Good vibes! - Very clean ship, friendly informative staff, well organized, and overall a great experience. Loved that the ship had a bar with drinks and snacky food available for all the passengers. Although the whales were hiding from us on the day we went on the excursion we did get to see one juvenile humpback whale. All the playful dolphins and seals that were following our boat made up for it though, and combined with the sunny San Diego weather, it was a perfect day out at sea.

Definitely use FLAGSHIP San Diego! - We had an awesome time. The crew was incredible both in service and knowledge. We saw whales and 3 different types of dolphin and a few seals/sea lions. Seats were comfortable and plenty of room the morning we went. Don't forget your jacket as it can be chilly out on the ocean. We noticed a lot of cruise ship excursion people boarding for the afternoon cruise, so go on the early cruise if your schedule allows. We also used Flagship for the ferry to Coronado and had a great experience there. Buy tickets for both online. It's easier.

Great experience- highly recommend. - Great trip - staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Boat was comfortable and we saw dolphins, sea lions, grey whales and even the Navy out training bottlenose dolphins (who were kind enough to do tricks for us!). Great time all around. I thought 4 hours would be too long, but it flew by.

Great experience and value! - Great experience and value! We saw (4) Gray Whales come up at the same time and many more whale and dolphin sightings! There were hundreds of dolphins and several pods that swam along with the boat. We loved the additional information from a group that would come around with visual aids, such as the baleen plate of a gray whale, and talk about the whales, dolphins, and answer any questions.
