Great for adults too! - So fun! Great for kids and the kid at heart. Lots of interactive exhibits. The aquarium was stunning. The earthquake simulator was so cool. We ran out of time but heard great things about the rainforest exhibit. Highly recommend. Would go back.

Fun Saturday! - Very fun and extremely entertaining, natural history museum. It would be a great place to take kids as well as adult adults when there was lots of animals and plant exhibits for us to look at. The parks rounding is absolutely gorgeous as well.

Perfect place to look... - Perfect place to look around and staff are extremely friendly and supportive. Three very different experiences: Aquarium, Planetarium and Osher Rainforest are all very well connected. The Planetarium has showtimes often and you will need to book your place once you get there using QR code.

Academy of Science is a must see! - You’re in for an exciting day when you the Academy of Science in San Francisco no matter your age! Hubby and I enjoyed all the exhibits as much as any of the different aged school students visiting. From the planetarium to the aquarium to the rain forest and more, it was phenomenal! A must see!

Wunderbar!! Friendly! Life-enhancing! - Lovely! Informative! Friendly. Easy to access. A happy birthday gift to me. I liked all the renovations and keeping the eye on the real core of life experiences. I also loved the Butterfly check at the end.

Awesom+e science museum - One great thing about the California Academy is that you can actually be *in* the exhibits. You walk through the rainforest, with butterflies flying around you. You can be surrounded by the fish in the aquarium. We stepped outdoors to see the baby reindeer about 6 months old. We were intrigued by the albino alligator. Lots of California natural history and hands-on exhibits. The big downside is that the tickets are very expensive. We splurged and enjoyed our time there and hope to go back.

Lots to take in! - The academy is quite large and it has many diverse exhibits. Africa, the swamp, the aquarium, the tropical forest and the planetarium. We were not told we had to book a time slot for the planetarium so unfortunately we missed that exhibit. Very crowded but still able to move about. The on site cafeteria is a bit wanting though!

Just an OK Science Museum - Had just a full day in SF and chose the Science Museum. Our kids love the Frost Museum in Miami and thought it might be a similar experience. It actually is similar, but not quite the size and quality of the Frost. The planetarium shows OK films, a bit boring. Aquarium and Rainforest areas are also good, but not worth it really. Best part of the whole museum I would say is the albino gator. At 50+ for adults and 40+ for kids over 3 I found it expensive too.

Wrong dates on the ticket,no response - I've purchased my ticket today. The first email I received said the participation date was today, which was correct. Then when I received/ downloaded the office ticket, the date was tomorrow. I sent the email immediately, whish was this morning, but there's no response at all. Due to this error, I can't go anywhere today. I sent the 2nd email later and requested the refund. Don't even know if I can get my money back or not. Such a big disappointment and wasted my time and money for nothing.
