For a whistle-stop tour of Napa and Sonoma and a great day out, definitely worth doing. - A great day out led by Danny our driver. After a slow start due to a late arrival, we visited the Golden Gate bridge for a brief stop (admission is free). The weather was perfect for a photo op and it gave everyone time to mix while off the bus. After a fairly long drive to wine country we arrived at Artesa, the first (and best) stop of the day. (We were supposed to stop at Roche but that didn't happen for some reason.) Fantastic hosting at Artesa and plenty of tasting to go around. Never a dry glass at this winery! Next stop was the B R Cohn winery near Sonoma. A pleasant stop and fascinating history referencing the Doobie Brothers but having been thoroughly spoilt at Artesa it was definitely a less entertaining experience, which was a shame as we were all really only getting started! Lunch was in Sonoma at the square (not included) and everyone had about an hour to eat, drink, consume ice cream and wander about the place. Lovely little town square full of interest. For our last stop we circled back to Madonna Estates (not owned or in any way associated with the pop singer). This was No.2 in the ranking of stops and quite pleasant to end the visit to the valley. Definitely a box to tick if you happen to be in San Francisco and looking to see more without hiring a car.

Enjoyed the fall colors. - Learning some of the areas rich history. Visiting a winery owned by one of the Doobie Brothers and visiting the oldest family owned winery that is also organic.

Enjoyable trip visiting 3 wineries - Meeting place is near our cruise pier, very convenient. The tour guide and driver, Don, really did a good job. He gave us lots of information during our trips to the Napa and Sonoma. Time staying in Sonoma Square was long enough for us to have a comfortable lunch.

Trip to three vineyards - Our driver (Dani) was great. He kept us in good humor all through the trip. Provided excellent restaurant suggestions during lunch. The vineyard we visited was Jacuzzi (yes, the same family had invented the device). They also press and make olive oil, which was very interesting. They were the most frugal with their portions. Others (especially Artesa) were more generous. The second vineyard was Artesa. Apparently, they are known for bubbly white wine. The final vineyard was Madonna. We liked the wines from all of them. But we felt Artesa (particularly Chardonnay) was the best. The Madonna Rose was also great. The host at Artesa was super friendly (Joe/ Jojo) and very warm. One advise. Do not have any extra drink beyond what the wineries offer you as part of the tour. You will end up having a lot of wine anyway.

Napa wine tour - Winery choices excellent and village lunch stop excellent, however recommendations for places to eat could have been better ! Tour guide a little monotone!

Definitely worth taking - Our driver Danny was also our entertainment. Awesome job Danny. Our first winery was Artesa in Sonoma. A beautiful winery in both architecture and views. Our server “J” was knowledgeable, energetic and great to be around. We sampled a lovely selection of varietals. Our second winery BR Cohn in Napa was a bit of a disappointment. The wine was good but our server was spoke more about the wineries connection to the Doobie Brothers than the wine. It was a very rushed experience and questions were discouraged. We had a fabulous lunch break at the square in Sonoma. A group of us went to La Casa and the food was delicious. Our final winery was Madonna Estate Winery in Sonoma. Our server Teri was knowledgeable and really engaged with the patrons both during our tour and tasting experience. We tasted a fabulous variety of wines and many guests purchased wines. The tour really deserved 5 stars but the Cohn experience was so negative that I just couldn’t ignore it.

Well organized - Good and well organized tour. Went to three different wine yards with enough time in between. While the organization was flawless, The wines in two of the three wine estates were a bit disappointing.

good tour - It was a very good tour. The bus driver/guide is very friendly. One point, we did not go to the winery or Sonoma Plaza as stated on the tour. I wish it had been more clearly stated that these are fully subject to change. That said, all the wineries we visited were interesting and we would like to go back. I would have liked to know in advance which wineries we would be going to that day, so that when we go back we can be sure it will be a different winery.
