Half-Day Wine Tour Highly Recommended - We took our half-day wine tour with Joanne as our guide in December 2024. Joanne was informative, personable, and entertaining. This was our first trip to San Francisco and she provided us with suggestions and tips for things to do and places to go beyond just our winery destinations. We visited two wineries, Madonna and RuVango, with Madonna being our favorite. RuVango may have had more to offer in terms of scenery, but the people were friendlier and the wine tastier at Madonna. On the way back into the city, Joanna treated us to a stop at the Golden Gate Bridge. Due to the time of year and the time we were returning, the sun was setting and made for some spectacular photos. If you don't think you're up for a full day wine tour (at our age we don't have the stamina) or can't spend the entire day away, the half-day tour is still certainly worthwhile.

Excursion at Napa iin San Fransisco on cruise stop. - We had Grady as our to driver and tour guide. We enjoyed it very much, he was very good giving us lots of information about San Fransisco and Napa valley. We visited two vineyards in Napa. Both were worth visiting. We had 4 samples at first one and 3 at the second. Would go again if in the area.

Easy way to see vineyards in California - Great vineyards and nice short trip to Napa and Sonoma to taste some local wine. The trip is well planned for half a day out of SF

Very enjoyable. - I loved the ride out...sit on the right side of the bus. We visited very nice properties with good wines. The person at Madonna was particularly friendly and informative. I think it would be beneficial to add an hour and have a good lunch.

First time in Napa Valley - The driver was very knowledgeable made the ride an unexpected learning experience. The first location also provided a lot of insight about the wine once the cork comes off. The wines themselves were good. Our favorite was the Pinot Noir. Prices were also reasonable. The 2nd winery was larger & fancy. We even got to try the grapes off the vines.

Our bus broke down on the... - Our bus broke down on the way to the first winery. While the experience of tasting in this winery was great, the bus never returned to pick us up and we had to return to San Francisco with another tour company that took pity on us. We never got to visit the second winery. We complained to Tower Tours however and quickly received a full refund.

Wish we did something else - Mediocre wine and a driver who was never quiet. Started allright but driver kept talking all the time and the two vineyards we visited were not that great, plus one seemed very disorganized. Lots of driving involved, but somewhat expected.
